How has progress been?

I want to start this as well but where should I start it where do you build it

Pick a hill with a steep side and start digging. I did rows of shovel fulls where I would did maybe a foot down or one length of a shovel. Then once you have a flat enctrance or steps down like mine just dig a small tunnel and make a room at the end. That's my plan anyway. I started wider at the top and thinner at the bottom to prevent cave ins. Also if you dig steps like mine be prepared to have water in your cave. I'll make a video of how I start just because you asked. It's hard to explaine in a comment.

ok I'm just having trouble of I don't own land, any ideas of where to start digging so people cant ruin it

+Dorset Madness well I could think of go to some big creek hills or river hills and hide it good. Don't dump the dirt right beside it spread apart the little hills so it looks like gopher hills from afar. Or get permission from a farmer or a friend. Also if you do dig a cave I use 2x6s for structure and plywood to keep chunks out. I plan to eventually build door over it like a root cellar kind of to keep water out
