    I want to thank you for the 100% honest review. I am an employee as well as a friend of Mr Wegner. As the person responsible for mining and making sure our areas for the public are top notch, this video makes me feel awesome! I had absolutely no idea you were coming to one of our mines.... we did nothing special to prep the place for you. So glad you had a good time.

    Thanks so much for the kind words! Yes, I want to try my best to articulate to the best of my abilities an honest review when I do these things. I always try to keep everything positive regardless, and at Wagner‘s location that was very easy to do because everything was positive! It was a very last-minute idea, I was there for a few days and decided that I could get footage in and we had just a couple of hours but got it done. Such a fun place!

    The integrity of this mine, when it comes to being environmentally conscious and considerate of how they operate, is what really makes it such an inspiration and example to crystal collectors all over the world.. it TRULY stands OUT among the rest, not only for it's spectacular Quartz quality, but for how it's such an extraordinarily honorable and noble operation with ethics and morals (which has become so rare these days😒).. knowing how our crystals are mined is extremely essential to collectors like myself.. loved this vid sooo much!💯💯💗💗🌈🌈👼👼😍😍🌠🌠💖💖✌️✌️ #WegnerMinesRock

  • @MrAmethystguy

    @MrAmethystguy

    His "good contacts" come about from years of building his reputation up in the "rock/crystal/mineral" community. For one, being honest and hardworking. Only a handful of folks can truly cut it(mining minerals/crystals full-time)...day in and day out.. You'd be surprised at how people shy away from hauling flats of crystals out of a big hole...lol. His willingness to take risk and possibly not reap the reward(typically mining is pricey...machine, gas, supplies, etc.), and its never a guarantee you'll find anything.....that is another reason TCC has earned a spot digging with the big boys ;) The biggest reason, in my opinion, that he has good contacts & spots to dig at, is mainly due to his heavyinvolvement in the local & national rockhounding/mining scene. Immerse yourself as much as he has into something, such as the crystal mining stuff (surfing too), and the good stuff will soon follow

    I'm fairly new to your channel. Ihave had so much fun watching you. I saw a young man who had dug 400 lbs of some crystal can't remember the name. He had one crystal 18 inches long and 2 more over a foot each. The man interviewing him sounded bored and the young man looked like his face would shatter if he tried to smile. Smoky Quartz in Colorado I just remembered. He had all these huge crystals I'd be jumping up and down singing and dancing for joy. Besides the Smoky Quartz he had all sorts of things I can't pronounce but they were wilde looking one looked like miniture logs all piled in a jumble. I couldn't finish watching I was getting depressed. I watch you and your so happy you get excited when you find something cool. And you explain the rock types which I need so much cause I don't know much here I've found buckets of cool stuff, fossils, I think jasper, fossilierous agate. Took me along time to say that word and to spell it lolz. I've been watching several of your digs and if I wasn't old enough to be your mama I'd be callin you up for a date cause on top of all your knowledge about rocks and the cute way you say wwhhaaaat your a good lookint young man. 30 years ago I was pretty hot looking lol. I still catch men checking out my backside as they ride the little minibikes after their wives LMAO. But all teasing aside you have an awesome channel I 💝💓💞😊☕

    Most of them require an upfront free (anywhere from $20-$30). Keep all you find. Some mines will only let you collect what you can fit in a normal 5-gallon bucket. It just depends on the mine.
