Thank you for posting the most basic but inspirational starting guide ! … it gave me hope ! Especially when I was on a Day / episode # 3 of trying to start my once used only strimmer … with the comments, below I knew I potentially had another 50 attempts to then hit the 200 mark … boosh ! It started circa 180 😂 🥵🥵🥵 thanks for the video, but especially the HOPE … No surrender 😊

Unless there is something else wrong with it, you must be flooding it. In general you don't need the choke unless it is very cold. MAKE SURE the filter is not clogged. Put switch to off, prime 3-4 times till no bubbles, pull the choke out, give it three steady slow pulls. Turk choke off, turn switch to ON, It should start first pull everytime. If it doesn't take the plug out to see if it is fouled. Also make sure exhaust is free and no little devils crawled it and nested. Only use the choke to start it when it is very cold. In general, to protect the motors from overheating they have made this run so rich it needs no choke.

This is not how you start a Hyundai strimmer folks! I have found you need to pump the primer 6x or until no air bubbles, then click the on switch to on, and pull the choke up to on. Then pull the cord out until you feel resistance. Then let the cord go, and fall back into place, then in one clean tug pull the cord with a full tug, the machine should turn over, if not repeat until it does. Click the choke back to off, and repeat the above by pulling the cord until you feel resistance again and then quick full pulls until it starts, should take three or four gos.
