Unintentionally, i found this song in an attempt to find another song but once I hit play, I was transported to late night drives around the city with the windows down and the wind playing through my hair. This song (alongside again and again) are always in my playlists. Different lives hit a bit harder as I lost my best friend last year to cancer. I met him at 26 and him at 25. I was in a bad place - faked smiles, friendships, lovers, and emotions... depressed and suicidal. Him coming into my life was an amazing gift. We felt like we have known each other for years, it was a friendship that took off and I will never forget him. He made me feel alive and left behind the toxicity. I'm terrified of the present and future but I am living for him, as well.
