In UK ,more salary in private Nsg homes But more benefits in NHS 1 year maternity leave is a great benefit

Hi Thank you for your comment 😊. I don’t know much about this hospital. Here in Victoria max experience is 10 years. 10 years and more experienced nurses get same salary per hour.

Could you explain about the sick leave policy , Emergency sick leave, .How many sick leave ( entitled) we can take in a year .Is it paid ? Is the sick leave carry forward from the previous year to the following year ? Could you explain when ever you get a chance please Here in Ireland paid Sick leave (full pay ) is 12 weeks in a 4 years time .

Hi Frank I recommend Public sector over Private. There is not much difference in salary but benefits are more in public sector. Melbourne is the most beautiful and livable city in Australia but the weather is unpredictable always.. I mean mostly cold, windy, rainy. Sydney is more expensive compared to Melbourne. Brisbane and Perth have tropical weather. Adelaide is more or less similar to Melbourne. Choose one according to your priorities 😊.

Hi Tonia You get Maternity Leave (3-4 months) from your Employer after an year of Employment. You will be eligible for the maternity leave benefits from centre link when you pass 2 years of Permanent residency. 😊

Hai I am about to sign the contract to a popular public hospital as 482 visa after direct AHPRA registration, but as per their email they have mentioned Fortnight 80hrs 34aud/hr. But my concern is I have 8.6yrs experience. The salary which they have offered is too low to my experience. Is this same throughout Australia or just this hospital

Hi Lijimol It was a problem to me too. But they counted my experience after probation period of 3 months. You can ask them via email to consider your experience and see what they say. Once you joined ,they might consider your experience if your skills are appropriate with your experience . There are places where they completely ignore your previous experience. I know its very unfair.

I got reply from them and they are telling as per Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, first one year the salary based on grade 2 year2 and after one year they will count my previous experience, and will get salary upto the whole experience level
