    @@manoranjantripathy11 depends on the college. Anyway, CSE is the highest package earning degree in India( even in the world). The following are the average CTC IITs CSE are always 20+ The old IITs and IIITH goes as high as 25+. Similar situation for top NITs, and BITS. Tier 2 colleges like new IITs, Mid NITs, DTU, NSUT, and many other gets around 15+. And most other private and government institutes still get at least 8+. But then again, IT too, is also very good. Although the pay is lower than CSE(keep in mind that you will study lesser stuffs. Everything you study in IT, you will study too in CSE. So IT is much easier). But for example, if you get IT in NIT Surathkal and CSE in some local unknown institutions. You should take NIT Surathkal
