Hi Marlon, see if you can get hold of a Kiko buck. Truly very hardy, (low maintenance) and has 3 dairy goat breeds in its ancestry. Crossed with boer, savanna and kalahari red, you will have a great foundational stock to upgrade your heard. Where in the Phil is your farm. Hope to meet n visit you someday. Thank you for making this video clarifying the differences between Savannah and Boer goats. A question: Does the much higher libido of the Savannah male mean that he would become ill-tempered if he did not have 50 females to service? Or can he adapt to just a few (maybe 5) females to service?

My areas is almost Thornley,means there is not much for goats to brows on,though the ingenious goats I am currently farming with have adopted well for this environment, now I would like to start farming with Boer goats as I see there is much potential in them for one to make better money. Now my question is it possible to plant some thorn bushes,if so how many hectares again which grass one need as goat Hai apart from the supplement?

there is no much difference among the Kalahari goats, savanna goats and boer goats.... they are very much similar.. only differences are there in their colour, libido.. thats it... i prefer Kalahari and Savanna goats....

I suggest YOU SPEAK HIS AFRICAN IN AN ENGLISH WAY and let's compare note. To me this guy is extremely good, at least he speaks English for those who cares to listen, unlike our Indian & Pakistani brothers that will upload similar videos on KZread but from A-Z it will be in their local language.
