Comparing with other states, I don't think there is a village in Kerala, though the rural areas are called village, every where you can see basic facilities and nice homes, cars etc. Living standard, Per capita income etc. are high in Kerala as per Govt. of India NITI Aayog survey. Also, as per 2021 NFHS-5(Govt. of India) survey, one in four families owns a car in Kerala (24.2% households).

Kerala is totally diffrent than North

Kerala has the highest human index development in india. Both villages and cities developed very well in kerala

You must know both sides of the coin Kerala is blessed by nature ❤️ Kerala, crime rate against women & children highest in India. Liquor sales highest. Liquor ,lottery and petrol GST is kerala 's only source of income. After 12 th std, students have to go to other states for higher studies and job. There is no agriculture,no manufacturing,no science & research in Kerala,100% dependent on other states for job, vegetables, rice, wheat, entire food items, drinking water , clothes, and everything. It's highest debt per capita, in Condition of road is bad. No new proper road except NH . Scare away existing few factories. Drugs, rowdyism, excessive political & religious extremism have made kerala, the least developed in kerala. Kerala is named after Coconut but it is brought from other states. Rubber plantation, tea coffee plantation is suffering from unionism and in loss. Hospitals are under control of a Mafia. Infact, what ever you are seeing is either a gift of beautiful nature or maharaja prior to 1947 or keralaites working outside Kerala. Nature has blessed kerala with a potential to become a tourism centre of the world but tourism is Zero. Otherwise after 1947, no new improvement happened / happening in Kerala. Of course, nature and keralaites working outside Kerala are pushing this state forward, each day 💐

You have put some really good effort in downgrading your home State. May be u r putting same efforts at your home too. In other states crime often don't get reported and women are not treated equal, especially in low income communities. Most of the crimes are similar to the US crimes - more psycho-kind involving drugs, while in other states it's money and mindset kind.

Don't talk nonsense. I am a Keralite living outside Kerala. What to do with BJP for natural beauty and climate? What you made additional that matters. Majority of educated Malayalis are wandering in BJP ruled state like Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat and unskilled and semi-skilled are doing lower end jobs in Gulf region. These snobs are ready to do any third rate job under inhuman condition with arabs. They will build big house with that hard earned money and will shamelessly boast we are the most developed. High HDI is only part of development. In all other count including higher education, job opportunity and economy we are pathetic.

Beware of local foods served in markets in kerala. Be it a hotel restaurant or road side food outlets majority prepare foods with unhealthy ingredients which are mostly stingy and stale in nature resulting in harmful health effects after consumption. Many hotels restaurants are sealed by Food and safety authorities for preparing foods in pathetic conditions... Even kerala police are also not trustworthy. Roads in kerala are very risky . Every day one or other accidents happens.

The few hotels are sealed because of the investigation done by food authorities. Of course they found stale food and sealed it. But let me ask you, how many of these checks are done in other parts of India? Here they report accurately that's why you get the info. Who knows how many unhealthy foods you have eaten without knowing it. Kerala Police is one of the best police dept in India. Like any other places there will be few uncomfortable interactions. Without any valid reason they don't trash people. Roads are risky everywhere, not only here. And because of the small state. You'll see a lot of narrow roads. Space constraints.
