I think this is what the people want when they type "Explan Deleuze to me" in caps. Your work is appreciated, thank you.

Thank you for this series. There are a lot of videos discussing Anti-Oedipus but very few on Difference and Repetition in comparison. Hope it continues!

Your videos are one of the best in KZread to understand Deleuze. I run to see the video, when I see it that was the begining of a Difference and Repetition serie. I'm looking forward for the next ones. Thank you for the effort!

A tremendously helpful video for making a coherent picture out of Deleuze’s thought. The links made to Empiricism and Subjectivity was very insightful. Cheers!

@@deleuzephilosophy I am currently reading D&R, forth chapter . I should say , at times , the text at some moments becomes “black box” to me. I literally don’t have a clue , what the heck does Deluze mean ...

@@ilyataraschansky9527 Haha true, Deleuze is notorious for being "black box". But once you get to know his "pulse" and his references, it gets a lot better.

Thanks from France ! I'm working on a paper about Deleuze's approach to learning and its very important for me to have access to this kind of clear synthesis of his ideas. You are not sacrifing the precision and the subtility of his thinking and its very hard to do. Im very grateful for your work, you can be proud !

At 6:40 , that's an assertion in literary style, not exactly a solution. So is it correct to view Deleuze's metaphyiscs as synthetic a prioris, as logically presupposed in acts of representation, and thus not themselves 'identities'? And if so, does it turn out to be coherent?

How do I begin to understand all this as a novice? Much of it makes sense but I seem to have gaps of understanding when I go through the whole video a few times.

One way is to read "Difference and repetition" in parallel, try to identify the themes and see how Deleuze develops them. The sheer force of habit will make them recognisable to you. Don't worry if you don't understand everything rationally at first, it'll come in time. It's a very deep philosophy, and also quite complex.

Would you mind speaking a little bit slower in your future videos? I love this one, and you definitely wrote a good script, but with the language Deleuze uses it gets a bit hard to follow when you speak so fast. Still, thanks for this one!
