Paul bitok and slash hissou both is my favorite
He got sort of bad got injuries and just sort of stopped but he did race after 1999 he retired in 2003.
On a side note. What happened to Salah Hissou after 1999? He won the 5000m WC then kind of disappeared.

It was said that he got injured. He ran a 2.12 marathon in -04 and after that i never heard about him again.

He ran 13:01 for 5000m at Oslo in 2002.

@@tommytempo1 Thanks. Too bad he got injured prior to the 2000 Olympic Games. May have been favourite for gold in the 5000m if the race was ran in a faster time.
