What inaccuracies with the uniform? This uniform was worn up until 1939, with the brown shirt. Then later the white shirt replaced the brown shirt for the general, SS. As a former collector of third Reich regalia, and having owned several original Allgemein tunics over the years I think the uniform is very accurate even down to the cut of the collar he’s wearing acceptable insignia, except for the fact that if he was in Gestapo he would not have SS collar patches which is not an oversight as this was a caricature of what Hollywood produced in the 1960s and 70s in World War II films (this is a Quintin Tarantino movie you dimwit… or did you think Hitler was killed in the cinema ?) don’t worry, you’re just another cretin who thinks they know more than they actually do.….how sad😢

When is Hollywood and television going stop portraying Gestapo police incorrectly? The uniform Hellstrom is wearing is the black 'Allgemeine' SS uniform which had nothing to do with the Gestapo whatsoever. As a matter of fact, the black uniform was phased out in 1940 in favor of the green/gray Waffen SS uniform. In actuality, the Gestapo generally wore civilian clothes and carried an I.D. disc that identified them as such. For some reason, Hollywood clings to the idea the Gestapo always wore SS black, an idea, I think, that originated with the old TV show 'Hogan's Heroes'.
