Dieselboy - Witness The Strength '95 (Side A)
Музыка
Another legendary Jungle-DNB mixtape from Dieselboy. This is my 2nd favorite Jungle tape of all time. Purchased from Cynesthesia in Minneapolis shortly after it was released in 1995. Again, flawless mixing, awesome track selection. This tape is solid, begining to end. Side B is also on my channel. No copyright infingement intended. Just trying to help keep the old skool mixes out there. Please rate & comment.

Wicked mix. Top tunes
Used to bump this all the time when I first started raving, still do almost two decades later. That little drop at 18:58 blew out all the subs
22 years....my, where have they gone! Epic cassette...member playing this in my Caddy...the stock Bose sounded so good!

Many MANY incredible, classic memories from long ago to this album!
Wow, some bangers on this mix. I’ve only seen Dieselboy play live like 3 times. I really wish I could have enjoyed more of his live sets. In the Mid 90's here in LA we had some many GREAT DnB dj's to choose from. It was an amazing time. Thank you @mixtape magic for sharing these mix tapes.
I was the 1st person to bring Dieselboy to Los Angeles in 1995 ! Concious Groove Los Angeles
Shit I am looking at people talking about 98 junglest makes me feel old I was there when jungle hit the streets of NYC. I fell in love . From konkrete jungle at the wetlands, shelter next door . Nasa parties or abducted at the tunnel. Disco2000 the Livingroom Scotto I can say thank you for your dedication and bringing us a new scene that changed my whole perspective on life .
I believe i had this!!!!! I didnt realize until now. Deiselboy is one of the greats!!!!!!
THIS is the DnB I was raised up on!!!! Yeeeeaah boi State Palace Theater was our castle!!! New Orleans NOLA baby!!! #FreeBassSociety

was it where Joe Biden implemented his 'crack house' law? the sentencing mandates where thr promoter is charged for sales to every single head in the venue who has any drug. also that things like Vicks and dust masks and glowsticks count as probable cause due to being officially classified as 'rave paraphernalia'.
One of my favorite mixes of all time.
Oh man I'm so glad this is up. I got this cassette at a rave in Nashville in mid-90s and it and a David Hollands tape were my two favs for years. Both lost to history. This was right before jungle disappeared into the realm of dnb and Roni Size cemented the genre (imho)
OG jungle historian.
I love diesel and have been stuck on only a couple of albums for about 7 years so im browsing through and this is the first time im listening to his one. your comments have me inspired!
I can't help myself and feel the need to tell you my memories. (You being the reader). DUDE. I remember when I saw Dieselboy at an outlaw in this old ass grocery store rented out for a party in Binghamton NY. It was around this time of year. Place was FREEZING. No heat. The ladies bathroom flooded (what's new right? ha!) and caused half of the location to have a giant small lake in the middle of all kinds of unpleasantries. No one cared. We just kept dancing, just around it, trippin' balls or rollin' zee face. This happened during his set mind you. Homeboy didn't blink an eye away from that table. Dub Tribe played that night too I recall. Where's that damn time machine already. I KNOW you feel me!

Hey brother :) It's funny isn't it....the nicest people i have ever met in my life have been at these "drug fuelled evil raves" and within the heavy metal scene (first gig ever was Iron Maiden and thoroughly enjoyed one of my all time faves Converge then Dillinger etc) where some of the apparently "scary" or "crazy` people go.... And Ive been to pop concerts where I've only met rude cunts. But in particular, drum and bass, jungle (quick shoutout to Luke Vibert for his incredible work on Amen Andrews for amazing jungle music) and metal seems to magnetize the nicest people) All of this is a huge generalisation and I'm not saying eeeeveryone is like that, obviously - i have met plenty of fucking cunts at d'n'b gigs and great folks at pop concerts; I'm not stupid enough to think its all so binary but its pretty fucking obvious when you've seen it a million times - basically, what I'm trying to say through my swiss cheese brain is drum and bass always has the nicest folk. I love English drum and bass fans from the 90's - many of my best friends are from that era though I was too young (and Scottish). Hardcore will never die ;)
heck yeah, love this tape
Another great mix! Thanks for posting. Wish I could find the case, but I do have my original tape.

#1 Favorite - Dieselboy "Supreme '95" #2 Favorite - Dieselboy "Witness The Strength" 2 greatest jungle/dnb mixtapes ever made, in my opinion. No digital studio edits/rework, just 2 Tech 12's, a mixer, and vinyl. Perfection.
Can't even begin to compare the sounds of the original rave scenes with the music they play at raves today. SPIRITUALMINDBODYSOUL_MUSIK LSD BEATS

+johhny bill Those 2 tapes literally changed my life. I remember buying both of them, in Minneapolis, and they got played daily for years. The fact that those 2 tapes were mixed, on just tech 12's, and not edited in a studio, is amazing. His transitions are flawless, and in my opinion, are the 2 best jungle/dnb mixes ever to be released, that did not have some huge label/corporate backing. Aside from a few house tapes, and The Jungle Book, these are prized possessions, and locked away for safe keeping.

+adam shaw amen to that! i hope to one even just hold those tapes in mt hand haha. This was the first drum and bass i ever heard when i was about 13 or 14 and like you said it changed my life. It was these mixes that got me hooked haha. I feel like these tapes can't have a money value put on them since they are such a piece of history. i know i would pay anything for them but once i had them i wouldn't sell them for a million dollars.
