In my country this engines are considered unrepairable. Not that people don't try it's just that they don't last even three months after major overhauling. Isuzu OHC engines are greatly feared though the problem is with the mechanics.

Yes, is this shop in america? What brand seal is that on block. Do they acetone first and let it get tacky before torque.. Apparently done alot of these, very quick. Very efficient. 😺👍

GASKET SHELLAC IS A HARD SETTING, SLOW DRYING LIQUID DESIGNED TO COAT, SEAL AND REPAIR MOST GASKETS INCLUDING FELT, PAPER, RUBBER AND COMPOSITION TYPE GASKETS. IT SEALS METAL GASKETS AND THREADED CONNECTIONS FOR LIGHT DUTY SERVICE.

Friend why whin you install the injection pump,,you turn na pully mark on the center shut timing..then after you install the camshaft assembly with gear timing you turn in the last line..,thank you..,

My Dear Dinnes Taglucop Because in this engine camshaft timing is different from injection pump timing.

you forget to fit one thrust washer, maybe you strip him diown abnd fix before you carry on!

Only three thrust washers come in this engine, you can check Engine model 4HG1 |

Amigo. Te escribo desde Panamá. Un motor bien armado y con repuestos genuino debe durar como mínimo 4 años. Haciendo los mantenimientos en su tiempo correcto.

@@LifeCampTV .saludos en realidad si.Lo digo con experiencia ya que mis camiones tienen esos motores. Y más o menos eso es lo que rinden. Tienes también que tomar en cuenta su uso y su abuso. Que rutas tienen en fin. Un sin números de variantes. Saludos hasta Las Filipinas desde Panamá.
