Diesel 10's Shocking Ordeal (Trainz Stories Shorts)

Here is a Trainz Stories Short, this time featuring Diesel 10. Based off a few Screenshots I posted upon Twitter. I wanted to explore Diesel 10 and Overhead Electric Wires and how Pinchy could end up electrocuting him by contacting the wires. So here we go, after Diesel 10 and Splodge go and harrass Wolfgang and the other Peel Godred to Kirk Ronan line locomotives! Until.....it happens!

Fascinating Diesel 10 doesn't like electric engines either. Not a good idea to go on their railway if his claw is high up close to the wires. 😆

It's Irony. Diesels were superior to steam at least in the mainstream but because Electric gained traction, which they would have done in the 70's if they could have built all the infrastructure they intended to, he is in denial that now he is inferior.

@@ChimpManZ1264 I wouldn't say diesels were superior, just more efficient (both energy and cost-wise) and cheaper to maintain. Steam locomotives would generally match or outperform comparable diesels in terms of pulling power. As for electric locomotives, they've actually been around a lot longer than the 70s. In fact, steam and electric power both developed side-by-side, with steam being more versatile and not having to rely on external power sources while electric was cleaner and easier to maintain.

At risk of contradiction.. I don't think so! Diesel 10 will not be keen on doing so. In other words! He won't be back! I think that it can be said that this is the first re-fuse-al he's ever had! 😉
I like how D10 has a prejudice for Electric engines despite them being more technologically advanced than them in terms of speed

Well, apparently for another awesomely excellent well-known fact, Diesel 1O alongside several other rude diesel locomotives wants the Fat Controller alongside Mr. Percival on the Island of Sodor's own official Skarloey Railway alongside Mr.Fergus Duncan on the Island of Sodor's own official Arlesdale minimum-gauge railway to officially go for full dieselization like they do for British Railways on the mainland! Luckily, havin' such a specifically "shockingly" good zap of some of the voltage of electrical power certainly would basically teach him such an officially amazingly important lesson!

Probably longer than that! Past the time when the 'abomination' paid it's visit to Sodor. I didn't see Diesel 10 in that story - fixing the damage to him was more protracted by consequence of that!

I don't think so! Not without greater circuit protection! Sir Topham Hatt will have heard of this 'incident' and whilst he may authorize Diesel 10's repair. He will insure that this cantankerous Engine receives no protective insulation beyond standard from overhead electric cables. Sir Topham will see it as a means to kerb Diesel 10's bullying of Steam and Electric Engines. So yep, Diesel 10 won't be bothering Wolfgang and his friends on the Electric railway.

MOHAMMED GEEDI: My final conclusion? There should be a feature-length television special where I can see Diesel 10, Splatter, Dodge, Diesel, Arry, Bert, D261, Spamcan, Old Stuck Up, P.T. Boomer, Sailor John and Baz come up with a plan for world domination on Sodor as revenge on Thomas and the Steam Team. (But luckily, Burnett Stone, Captain Joe, Bernie, Lady, Skiff, Sonny, and the friendly diesels have a heroic plan to save them from being scrapped)
