One of the best comical songs! The better question isn't what he was thinking but rather what he was thinking with! 😂 It came out in 2003 so it's 20 years old.😊

I think he was in his mid 20s when this song debuted. So "It" is 45 or so now. 😁

My favorite line is when he said he was 'hood slidin' like Bo Duke'. That was because of an old TV show called the 'Duke of Hazzard'. It was kinda hillbilly people & Luke & Bo Duke were young guys always in trouble with the law & Bo would run & slide across his car hood to get to the other side faster, to get away all the time. LOL This is a fun song. 'Drunk on a plane' is another fun one & 'Home' is a touching one.

That was about 20 years ago. I was about 20 living in Texas. It was my theme song back then. Every time I hear it I think about two time just like it back then.

I remember when this came out, it was Dierks' first hit, got him on everyone's radar. That started in Seattle though, one of our local radio guys heard it and started playing it and soon after everyone was playing it.

Dierks is one of my favorite artists. I saw him live when he first came out and he put on a great show. My favorite country song from him is Sideways. My kids got sick of hearing it when they were young. He also has a bluegrass album that is full of great music.

He says he was thinking about a little white tank top sitting right there in the middle by him, and thinking about a long kiss. Then he ask, “What was I think in’?”

This was my and my ex's song. I wasn't allowed to date and he was my first boyfriend when I turned 18 and went to college. Mostly because of my dad. That relationship lasted about 2 years too long (4 years total), but we had fun and did stupid stuff and that song really captured the essence of our relationship - at least in the beginning.

If you don't look back and think what was I thinking your ether haven't smartened up or had a extremely boring childhood. The first one that pops to my head (I was willing to share) is being on a dirt bike in just swimming trunk and a helmet going about 70mph down a back gravel road on my back tire.
