No recuerdo el año , pero vinieron a jugar los All Blacks con Jonah Lomu y el se emocionó al ver que en un palco de la cancha de River estaba el Diego hinchando por los Pumas , esta en KZread y ese es respeto y admiración de un gran jugador a nuestro Diego Maradona . Como Argentino que hace 2 años no para de llorar a Maradona, siempre estaré agradecido a la nación de Nueva Zelanda por este IMPONENTE homenaje al Pelu, a nuestro héroe.

Es qe son personas qe saben, Argentina el deportista qe sabía un poco de deporte estaba de luto,increíble gesto de los grande de los All Blacks.

Si nos diéramos cuenta lo que significa para éstos caballeros de Negro, el retrasar una danza tan simbólica para ellos para hacer un homenaje a un deportista de otro deporte que no es el de ellos, entenderíamos la verdadera entidad de su gesto. ESO LOS HACE AÚN, MAS GRANDES. Muy bien 👌 por los ALL BLACKS

Precisamente de eso se trato el acto. Cuando el capitán va al centro de la cancha y deposita suavemente la camiseta, con ella está representando al guerrero caído (en este caso el Diego). Después se retira caminando marcha atrás de frente a la camiseta, sin dar le la espalda en otra señal de respeto. Y lo que la mayoría no sabe es que no hicieron cualquier Haka, sino uno destinado a un guerrero CAÍDO EN COMBATE. Algo JAMÁS HECHO POR LOS ALL BLACKS ENTODA SU HISTORIA POR UN EXTRANJERO...

Aver en todos los partidos de fútbol que hubieron los homenajearon igual, Minuto de silencio, el Napoli se pusieron su camiseta pero más de ahí no, el homenaje se dio realmente en nuestro país, por ejemplo en el obelisco.

Who doesn´t ? Maradona was, is and always will be considered the best football player ever to most people around the world. He´s a legend. My favorite is Zidane, but Pelé, Ronaldinho Gaucho, George Best among many others are great but Maradona is the king.

Y es difícil que una selección nacional acá no te represente o no te genere un sentimiento de apoyo incondicional, estos tipos siempre fueron la excepción, siempre alejados de la gente. No es un mal deporte pero los sectores que lo suelen practicar acá son repugnantes.

A very good player, not "the greatest". A really great player would not claim a goal that they knew was not valid. That is and always will be a stain on his reputation (as well as the drug use) and it was made worse by claiming "divine intervention". Skill alone does not guarantee being held in the highest esteem.

Not only are you wrong about their status, you can't even spell the country's name correctly or check that you have made an error.

@Ejrk22 Not only NZ has rugby union as it's main sport, so does Fiji who are Olympic 7s champions for the second time and Wales. Both NZ (just under 5m) and Fiji (just under 1m) have small populations and compete against nations with much larger populations ( England, France, South Africa and Australia). So being the best is hard and you are wrong on more than one account. PS I've visited both countries and seen their commitment to the game first hand (I was in Fiji for a family wedding in 2016 when Fiji men won the 7s gold at Rio), have you?

I am big fan of football myself,and had watched Maradona playing so many times during my childhood and adolescence. The goal he scored against England in 1986,with the ball glued to his left foot, is the most stunning goal i have ever seen in my 42 years of life. This video brings me to tears every single time i watch it.

Haka's never fail to draw incredibly raw emotion from me. They are beyond amazing, spiritual and downright touching❤

I disagree. Laying a jersey on the ground of a fallen national team member is disrespectful.. Ask any Australian or NZ Armed Forces member what they think about when a member of the public lays down a national flag on the ground.

Laying a flag on the ground is extremely disrespectful to those men that laid down their life for their country. That's why no Armed Forces allow any flag to touch the ground during flag ceremonies.. The same standard should be met when honouriing our dead It's international protocols that set the standard when honouring the dead. You need to learn it.
