For me,Maradona is good in dribbling, acceleration and other,but Messi is have same ability as like Maradona.I think I am choosing Messi bcuz Messi is completed at Barcelona but Maradona is doesn't completed at Barcelona.And Messi skills is similar for me.And Maradona skills is complicated for me.😊😊

I am looking at the success rate of any endeavor in a game, average rating and dominance over a period of time. The fact that Messi remained the best while several generations and even football philosophies changed, day by day, being best on any field, indifferent against or with who he played with. Maradona was way more inconsistent than Messi, he had MOMENTS and he dominated SOME games and this lasted for a short time. Huge difference. As someone said, Maradona was Maradona sometimes, Messi is Maradona all the time - plus better vision, shooting, balance, football IQ, composure, professionalism, leadership and so on. What we keep seeing for Maradona are the same few (magical indeed) plays he had in some games, but not the hundreds of games where he was "normal". And which are edited with greater speed or removing parts where he lost the ball. When Messi will retire the compilations with him will have hundreds of hours. Think about it, from his almost 1000 goals, at least half are beautiful, he has the most dribbles completed in history, highest percentage in history and so on...
