With Meursault in the team, do you still need to lock insight with defensive skills or you just cycle through them always? Perhaps with max erudition stacks you want to start locking skills? Have you fought a long fights with him yet?

There is no reason to lock skills on this Meur, as his rotation consists of spamming s1 and s2 untill he stacks enough Erudition to use s3 as a finisher. With Rodya and Hong you still lock your insight 3, it gives you a lot of consistent damage, +1 clash isn't that great of a tradeoff.
I got the Ryoshu ego instead....hording shards as we speak to get my need husband

if he has insight 2 or 3, like if you use skill 1 and other skill is 2 or 3 then gets more insight and gets used again

If you wanna keep his insight at 3 for maximum benefit you can replace hong lu's unused skills with defense skills after discarding a s3 so it doesn't discard anything else, keeping it at 3

1. He was able to reuse the coin due to having Insight 2. The Rusty Commemorative Coin makes him reuse his S1 due to initially having 1 coin.

What the replies don't say is that you need to have him uptie 4
