Die Spinning Jenny
1767 erfand der englische Weber James Hargreaves die erste Spinnmaschine, die Spinning Jenny, die anfangs acht, später bis zu 130 Spindeln gleichzeitig füllen konnte. Spätestens ab 1799 war sie auch in deutschen Textilbetrieben im Einsatz.

Because the title is "The Spinning Jenny" in German. "Die" is the German word for "the".
