Die oudste woonbuurt in Suid-Afrika, die Bo-Kaap, het onlangs die goeie nuus gekry dat hulle uiteindelik ‘n stap nader aan ‘n erfenisgebied is. Die Kaapse stadsraad het aangekondig dat dié historiese woonbuurt as ‘n erfenis beskermingsone verklaar word - dit na ‘n stryd van etlike jare. Hoewel dit goeie nuus is, lê hef aan nog voor. Ons het ‘n paar dae in die Bo-Kaap deurgebring om meer uit te vind oor dié kleurryke woonbuurt en wat die toekoms inhou.
The Bo-Kaap is the oldest suburb in South Africa. It recently received heritage protection from the City of Cape Town, after years of activism. We spent a few days in the Bo-Kaap to find out more about this colourful suburb.

    I have still handwritten Jawi manuscripts written in Bahasa Melayu/Indonesia NOT in Afrikaaps Afrikaaps or Sabelo I was requested by our Malaysia and Indonesia 🇮🇩 brethren to catalog these Handwritten Jawi manuscripts They the Malaysia and Indonesia researchers refused to touch Arabic Afrikaans manuscripts as this was written and created by an Hanafi Turkish Sheikh Abubaker Effendi RA in the 1860's whereas the the Jawi manuscripts were written since our first arrival in 1650"s
