The music is very beautiful!! Richard Strauss was a genius and is one of my favorite composers, the other one being Richard Wagner!!

WOW! So nice to hear this scene, the melodrama and the following duet, UNCUT in all its glory. We have Theilemann to thank for this, presumably. Schwanewilms is incredible - Anyone who thinks the spoken section weak and needing cuts should watch this clip! What a shame the whole thing isn't released on DVD/BluRay.
