@@wakademy-gauthieraube South Australia… I’ve been playing didgeridoo/Yidaki for about 20 years. But I’m alway looking for and enjoy new techniques. Im Indigenous Australian, played in a Aboriginal dance group for about ten years. Stopped playing for a bit to raise a family and get regular job. But performance is in my blood. I’ve missed performing all this time. So it time for me to get back into it again. I know, too much information, but I thought I’d share anyway..

@@Escekar Oh no, it's not too much informations. I'm very glad to see that you are still looking for new technics after 20 years. It's the same for me, I'm trying to look around to understand and learn new technics also, like you I'm playing since 20 years now. But I'm not Indigenous Australian! I'm a French guy who give his life for didgeridoo (I'm not playing Yidaki). Nice to meet you here anyway. :-)

@@WakademyDidgeridooSchool can I say, you Honour the Didgeridoo and you are very respectful. This instrument is a part of your Life and it’s a wonderful relationship you have with it. I’ve played Didgeridoo with the right side of my mouth as I get the loudest and very clear articulation of sound. So I’ve decided to play front on now. Moving out of my comfort zone so I can become a student again and unlearn what I know. It’s very difficult for me but I’m enjoying the discovery of new techniques and rhythms.. so watching you will help me become a student again and help me discover new sounds and rhythms..

Most of the time, when an harmonics doesn't sound well it comes from the pressure we had on our lips and also the position of our lips. So I will recommend to have a look to your lips, but we will see that in real! ;-)

Hi Chex-Mexican, you mean your first drone? Or the circular breathing? anyway, it depends of how fast you are learning. Some people can learn the drone and the circular breathing in few days, some need weeks, and others months (for circular breathing). Have you the drone? and the Circular Breathing? Tell more about you and I will be able to help you. :-)
