While it was always obvious that this was a text-book Full Circle conclusion much in the way Halo: Combat Evolved was, I can't say I've ever noticed for myself or recall when, if ever I was informed that Bungie's developers went as far as making the more-natural rock of the final section in the shape of the Silent Cartographer. If there's anything that can be said about Bungie, it's certainly not that their artists and/or environmental designers lack an ethusiastic attention to detail (I know more people than myself who can spend minutes admiring their 'skyboxes', especially in Destiny where I could just stay in The Tower or have my imagination fueled looking out from atop Felwinter Peak, when I wasn't left wanting to pet the Wolves at the latter).

I loved how the rebuilt Installation 04 was just like the original in ways that other Halos and forerunner structures weren't. I only recently noticed that the control room and the pyramid-like structure where you enter it are also identical to those structures in Halo CE, and so is the room and the hallway that you exit through to get to Johnson's warthog. The similarity is subtle because it all looks kind of just like any other forerunner structure in terms of the scale and textures, but there are no rooms or structures with those exact layouts anywhere else except Halo CE. It is eerily familiar.

Once again, something always special about the original game comes to light. P.S. What's the piano song near the end called?
