Love that as well and my entire family loves peppers but I don’t care for them. Bell, sweet or hot. Grew bells few years back turned out great and learned a bit but just can’t eat them. I pick them out of pasta salad 🤫
The veggie boys band name The Flying tomatoes, in honor of Andrew getting hit in the head 😄. Another amazing videos & harvest.
You’re absolutely right! Home grown tomatoes are so much better than the greenhouse or gassed tomatoes!
Congrats on your Subscribers! Thank you bunches for the video!!
I posted on my Instagram page last week about the subject of taking Tomatoes early, and also credited your channel for the fact that this year I've been growing some Determinate varieties. Because I'm in a high Blight risk area of England, and last year much of the UK was hit hard, with many of us losing much of our crops, I decided to try getting ahead of the late Blight curve by growing some Determinates. This was simply because I'd been watching you harvest yours, and thought it better to get some crop all at once, than risk losing all of it at once. I grow all my Tomatoes outside, and no matter which Indeterminate slicer/beef varieties I choose, all will ripen from now onwards. I don't get the luxury of waiting for them to ripen on the vine. Even with the Determinate varieties, our weather has been so crazy this year, from extended cold nights, to periods of cloud cover with no rain, then 40c droughts we've never seen, straight into cycling storms... just as everything decides to ripen. If I wasn't picking my Tomatoes early, they'd either have diluted flavour profiles, or totally split. Aside from the fact that friends of mine, a few counties over, already lost their Greenhouse grown to Blight, so I'm on watch. I don't really like raw Tomatoes, and I'm allergic to the plants, but I'm a bit obsessed about growing them. One of the great things about watching other channels is constantly being inspired to change what you're doing, to hopefully stay ahead of the curve, when Mother Nature has a meltdown, and hopefully find the varieties I do like.
🍆🍅🫑🌽🍆🍅🫑🌽🌶🌶 incredible truckload of Veggies! I’m so envious of your local customers ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I learn EVERY SHOW! Thx for your efforts Andrew. You bring a smile to my soul. God bless Family Farms in America! Let’s keep it that way Americans. Support your local farmers.
Thanks for another great show!!
Your family never fails t bring a smile to my face. I enjoy watching your family working together. I think these days that’s a rare thing. I wish I could enjoy your harvest but Floridian is a long way to go for fresh produce. People in your area a really very lucky to have farmers like you. My love to all of the Boys and girls.

Andrew, I definitely don’t think you’re awkward! You do a great job explaining and showing us while you are talking🤗!! Y’all work really hard and I want to thank you for your informative videos! That shot of all the produce on the truck was exceptional😉!
Did you know that thanks to the vege boys, vege boys and vege babies we have just set up a minature germination greenhouse so we can start incubting seeds. This will be the first time we have planted vegetables in several years. We have seeded into cell trays and given we are just coming out of winter this will help the seeds germinate.

@Tara, best of luck with the greenhouse. Hope you get the crop you desire. 🤗🙏🏻
Andrew, never never ever end a video without Callie Rose! I will never have grandchildren, and seeing Callie Rose brightens my dreary life. And I am sure it does for others too.
Thank you for showing the harvest. It’s my favorite part of your program. I like all your program but that’s my favorite
From my Mom: Design a line of veggie shaped cookies, like animal crackers - butter, choc chip, oatmeal raisin, etc. Bag them and consider shipping some things. Frozen pies, breads, horseradish, pickled beets, 3 bean salad, etc. You make 1/4 what Just a Few Acres Farm makes per year on KZread. We got to get your viewership up.
Being from Philly I feel like I'm visiting family every time I watch one of your videos. I can feel the love. 💕😍💟💖
Chinese on Date Night at Megan and Joel’s House sounds Like 👍 a Great Time. 👍🙏
Nothing prettier than a truck full of veggies! Well maybe Callie 💕
Thankful for America's farmers! You guys are doing the work. Cheers.
All of those baskets of beautiful veggies. What a wonderful sight!
Matthew where's your bucket hat?? Now fancying a ball cap? That won't protect you from the sun! Love the sound when you PICK the veggies, what an incredible day of picking! Do you sell all that produce in your market? AMAZING!!!!! As always I LOVE the information you share! YOU are 100% CORRECT about tomatoes, when they ripen on the vine or in my kitchen, once RED they are delish!!!

He said they don’t ship online. No help. Just their market, local stores, restaurants or auctions.
Cannot believe you guys are still pulling ears, this far into September! Wow. Supposedly, tomatoes are considered a fruit because they continue to ripen after they are harvested. That truck bed is SPECTACULAR! As is Callie!
Hey brother! I just found your channel thanks to the Meyers out here is Sacramento. I know your family works harder than most but your joy is evident. Proof you put the important things first. 👍
I have been telling many I hope to come up and get Bushels. Thank you a Farmer doesnt get enough appreciation for all you supply to people. And you have the best farms hands down. 👍❤
For your band just call yourselves the Veggie Boys , that's a great name 🥰
One thing living where I do, I can find tomatoes that are just starting to turn. We love fried green tomatoes, but we prefer them just starting to turn.
Congratulations on hitting 140 thousand subscribers! 🍾🍾🍾🍾
Such beautiiful assorted colour veggies. So happy to see them. 💕
I like it when Grandpa says, "I'm Grandpa"! It's the little things in life. Lol
love the colours of the picked veggies on the truck. those peppers are bright red, look delicious
Love you all for bringing us fun and value of family. Miss mine tremendously ❤️. You all are so blessed.
Me on a Sunday - bombing likes on this channel. 👏🙌 I notice Andy’s voice Good Morning Everybody changes… it’s high pitched when his well rested 😂
Your so blessed to have such a big family.
The Veggie Boys is a good name. Sometimes after watching an episode the name The Veggie-Heads makes more sense.
My husband and I love watching you and your family. You are family orientated and you are so upbeat! Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Hi 👋 you've a cute picture on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say hi. I hope my compliment is appreciated ☺️
Yankees Doodle went to town riding on a pony, put a feather in his hat and called it macaroni 😉🌾 ❤️ me some Gavin always got the funnies.
I usually pick tomatoes when they start getting red on the bottom part, personally I think not fully ripen tomatoes are the best for salads. This week I transplanted 7000 plants to the field, I hope it will have a good production and price.
I don't eat raw tomatoes but I can definitely tell by even the smell. Momma called them hot house tomatoes that don't have that home grown taste and smell.
I plant my tomatoes with basil and chives so they taste amazing. Also, my volunteer tomatoes always do better than store bought plants
Wonderful harvest of peppers. Great corn too
Andrew thank you for taking the time to explain about the tomatoes! Your local grocery stores are so lucky to get those slicing tomatoes, yum!
Such beautiful vegetables ? It makes me want to reach through the camera and grab some . Andrew you guys worked hard, but you have a beautiful harvest .
I just love seeing the truck full of such beautiful vegetables!
Grandpa and the bell pepper boys! Grandpa could sing "I...... am a man... of constant sorrow....."
Love your videos and encouragement of family farming.
Thank you for sharing your world with us. Joel asked for name suggestions for a band for the Veggie Boys. Depends on the type of music. More information needed, please?
My mouth waters when I see Andrew bite into one of those bell peppers! And don't get me started on the tomatoes. One of nature's most perfect foods. Love me some tomatoes.
I love listening to you, Andrew, explaining things, you do a wonderful job explaining. Love watching your videos.
Great harvest!!! Everything looks amazing!!!
I watched you harvest as I was canning spaghetti sauce tonite….love it!!!
Hellooo guys...happy to watch you're videos every single upload...👍👍👍👍
Yee haw! Just came in from my garden, planting for fall. What a delight to see a new video with my favorite veggie boys, girls, grandpa and little bit. Have a wonderful weekend.
There's nothing like freshly picked sweet corn. My favorite time of year. I can't believe you do all your picking by hand! My poor back would give out after 30 minutes of hard work. Thank you for the tomato info. I grew tomatoes in my backyard this year. I was hesitant about picking 'pink tomatoes'. I have a couple of neighborhood raccoons that are stealing my tomatoes!
Godspeed Veggie Boys & Girls.
Can you do a mini short or more information on the apple buffer you use for most of your veggies? I can't really seem to find much online about them, it seems to make cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, squash and zuccs so easy to process and keeps the water off them which helps shelf life in turn!
Farming, so dependent on weather, especially rain. This is what makes it so chancey. Wonderful to see a family make a go of it.
Ears and ears of corn, nice harvest of vegetables 😀
I watch Acre Homestead and Becky there said she watched you guys and lo and behold your channel pops up today for me! I live in the High Desert in Los Angeles County and I like going to Farmers Markets since I can't grow too much at home. Glad I found you all. I do have a question, though, why can't I find just regular yellow corn on the cobb any more? Doesn't anyone grow it? It's all white sweet or yellow sweet and that's too much sweetness for me. That's all I remember when I was kid in the 60s and 70s and I loved it. Came from New Jersey and that's what we had there, too.
I noticed with my cherry tomatoes this year that they actually taste better if picked when turning color rather than allowing them to fully ripen on the vine.
I finally made my stuffed peppers. Only for myself. They are so delicious. Glad I made them. I make a nice stuffed eggplant also. Yum
Magnificent country. Almost expect Millet to paint you as you all stoop to pick.
Beautiful harvest!
I love Veggie Boys, You are all amazing😍
I love growing veggies. Had a small farm growing up. Green beans was quite a stable. Winter squash, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots oh my so many. 5 kids, mom, dad, and grandpa. God bless you all.
Blessings to all!
Thank y'all for all your hard work y'all do to produce the best food for us! Y'all and other farmers are much appreciated!👍
Hi Andrew. A fairly new subscriber here. I really like your editing style. Straight forward but it has a nice flow. I pick my toms once I see some colours too. If not, the birds or mice will get them. And I have all kinds of recipes with green tomatoes too. Lauren your wife (I hope I got her name right!) has a doppelganger! One of my students! Haha the resemblance shocked me when I first saw her in the vlog. Anyways, your harvesting parts of the videos is therapeutic, satisfying and calming at the same time. Cheers from Alberta to the whole fams!
Beautiful harvest! Hard work paying off! Thanks for sharing.
That was an amazing harvest!!
Your dad is work very hard u all most tell him relax some time I know he like hard working person but still , respect uncle relax go and play with grandchildren but be around too pull up on them guy love your family and your show I’m from Trinidad 🇹🇹 Tobago
What an abundance of crop you’ve had so far! Y’all are so blessed!
I love that y’all work together as a team
new subscriber here. up in cowgary alberta. we're getting frost in a few days and it's a longer season than usual. love your produce and abundance. i won the trust of a landowner and am building a garden in the empty lot next door to my teeny apartment almost downtown. over 250 garlic harvested this year.. i started with three heads i bought for $10.50 of organic russian jumbo 7 years ago. the ground was all rocks and weeds so i had to build my own soil getting a truckload of arborist chipped trees every year and building raised beds with boards i can get for free from construction site dumpsters etc and carry back under one arm on my bicycle. Finally getting some abundance here now. it's so great to get a few tomatoes, carrots, beets, herbs, an onion and a couple potatos and cook'em up and eat them the same day. my body loves it so much more than the storebought processed foods. the raspberry section is getting really big, super abundance there too. the layers of wood chips break down quite quickly under the surface and make super rich soil.
Absolutely love watching your videos you are having an awesome harvest this year
I just love your Vlogs and love watching you all pick your veggies.
Always a great harvest!
I learn something new about tomatoes today! Thanks for sharing! This is an amazing channel!
Beautiful harvest👍
Beautiful harvest 🙂
My three year old grandson loves watching your family work the farm! The Harvester is his favorite, but he just really loves it all…he told me he wants to be a Farmer, and he will work in Mommy’s garden 💕 He’s started saying BuhBye the way you do and waving to me right before I go home 😂🤣😂 We are in NJ…your market might need to be on our list for a day trip one of these days just so he can see The Veggie Boys! (My daughter thought you were a kids show when he started talking about the farm!)
Happy to see all the harvest is done with your family did today👍👍💖💚😍God bless and enjoy what you do Andrew thanks 👍🥕🍆🍅🌽🥒
You folks are the absolute best !!!
Wow what a load of produce. Amazing!
its nice to see, honesty. love your videos andrew ,keep em commin m8.
The Harvesters is the name of the band lol
Wow. Beautiful, colorful harvests today from the tomatoes and peppers and etc. Seems like 1 tomato plant has a lot of fruits and I wonder what makes it that way but you guys are super heroes in farming. From planting to harvesting you make it so beautiful and amazing and thank you for the food you work so hard to produce that we can eat. And Callie? She is my favorite character in OCHS Farm!
Beautiful harvest
Great looking tomatoes, like the great peppers and cukes and squash. You all do a great job, and I am sure your community really appreciates your efforts. Wish I lived closer to visit you daily for my food. Keep up the great harvest!

I absolutely love your videos.
Looks like rains here this week, as well for you. Time to pick tomatoes! Thanks for the video.
Another great video!
Your truck load of vegetables are just beautiful! Nice work guys.🍅🌽🥒
The sheer volume of fine produce that your family runs through in a week must be very rewarding to you and your family Andrew! The various varieties harvested today all appear as though they will be very tasty whether fresh or home processed for those darker days ahead. And yes, frost is too close by now, sneaking down from ND and across from WY. Those two characters there, Joel and the Donkey Dancer, would you say that they are "stable workers" out in the veggie patch? Just asking for curious minds. Have an awesome weekend! -Bob...
