Thats because Paul new what the credentials were to be an apostle , Because Jesus was teaching the disciples along the way on what it takes to be an apostle. Thats why Paul knew what it takes to be an Apostle. An Apostle has many gifts , and as well one must have the Holy Spirit to receive the gifts The gifts of an Apostle are listed 1 Corinthians 12:7-10 As well they are listed in other places as well. Jesus was an Apostle as well. People that are against Paul have truly never read the full scriptures , and rely on youtube videos who cherry pick verses , and paint Paul as a false Apostle lol Paul broke down everything, we wouldn't know anything had Paul not wrote His Letters , He was a master in the Torah , and the Holy Spirit used Paul. Jesus has many titles or positions Son of Man - Jesus Christ(flesh/mankind/human) Apostle - Jesus Christ Servant - Jesus Christ Messiah - Jesus Christ Priest - Jesus Christ King - Jesus Christ God - Jesus Christ Through Jesus Christ we will all have these titles or positions as well... we will also be like gods , but God will be the head. Thats why God said , we will sit on the throne with Him and judge the 12 tribes and angels. in the book of Revelation. Rev 3:21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. He ended up in Rome where he retired on his military pension. There was never any fellowship between them. throughout the whole of the long Acts narrative it is never mentioned that Peter spoke so much as one word to Paul. NOT ONE WORD.

Yeah, know. You need to reread the first few chapters of Romans if you think Paul was just concerned about people worshipping wrong gods. He also rebuked his own Jewish brethren for not recognizing the Messiah and for putting their faith in Jewish identity over faith in Christ.

No, he rebuked the Pharisees for NOT obeying the LAW. That's why they were hypocrites. They put tradition above God's Law. Hand washings, Sabbath laws they added.... But we are not to add to or take away from God's HOLY Law.

Paul was one of the most faithful Apostles in the New Testament. It’s amazing how he went from killing Christians to having an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. After this experience, he traveled widely throughout the eastern Roman Empire, spreading the “good news” that Jesus would soon return from heaven and usher in the reign of God (“the kingdom”). I see other Christians have defended our Apostle who is best known as Paul Apostle of Christ. In the Protestant denomination he is also given the title of Head Missionary. Our God Jesus, changed this hateful man called Saul of Tarsus. And he went onto change the history of the world. A prophet he was not! He never regarded himself as such. He is however known to Christians as Paul Apostle of Christ. There is no other powerful title than that. Being an Apostle is an honour because you are a messenger for Christ. The gospel was more important to him than his Jewish heritage. Although, as a Christian, he was no longer under obligation to follow the Jewish Law, he would do so if that would give him the opportunity to share the gospel with other Jews. When with the Gentiles, Paul adapted to their practices. “To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law” (1 Corinthians 9:20-21).

They never started worshiping idols, never moved away from the Jewish God. In fact they called their movement "The New Way", and celebrated the Sabbath together for years in the Synagogue until Rabbis decided the "The New Way" (those who believed Jesus is the Son of God and the Christ) because Jesus was the Savior (and believed in the words that Jesus preached) and asked them to leave and not celebrate Sabbath with them any longer. Well, these things must be important to her, and to those that think like her. I suppose, she is simply trying to discredit the Bible, and Christianity, and The God of the Bible. At the very least, she seems to be attempting to discredit Paul. The Bible has been around a long time now, and stands on its own merit. It will continue to exist, long after she, and those like her, have vanished into oblivion. One day, she will be forgotten, as if she never existed at all; like dust beneath the feet of children at play, unaware she ever was..., but the Bible will continue.

She has scales. I hope she gets the urgency Paul really felt, Paul wouldn't let a second pass, his enduring love and devotion to Christ was so strong he evangelized and won souls because it truly is life or death. Paul meant it. His love for Jesus is real it just rolls off the page like butter. She hopefully one day will feel the not so jaded Holy Spirit. Read those epistles for their contents, not what you can suggest about their historicity in the naturalist's chronology. Where this is some conspiracy. We can have good things. At the end, she claims that Paul saw as the problem (for which Jesus was the solution) that Gentiles had moved away from the Jewish God. In which parts of which of his letters does Paul say this? . . . I was under the impression that Jesus had saved everyone in Paul's view, Jewish and Gentiles, and that Paul wrote to the Gentiles, because the mission to Gentiles was made his field by the church. But he wanted the Jews as much to accept Jesus as their savior.

She's expressing her analysis. She didn't quote a specific passage in the New Testament. In the same way Christians think Jesus is God, eventhough Jesus did not say he was God in the narratives.

You know, an ancient Greece there was religion without clergy. There was no such thing as the wrong. God worshiping the wrong God everything was allowed. That was the beauty of the humanism of the golden age of tradition where the center of reality was focused on developing yourself self development. Sometimes gods are good, sometimes gods are bad. Yes. I'm not a Pauline scholar but I think Romans lays this out. All were under God, but then all went astray. He starts off with Gentiles going astray, but then is explicit about Jews also going astray from God despite being Jewish and having the words of God.

The Apostle Paul never thought of himself as a prophet. He had no problem calling himself an apostle. If he thought of himself as a prophet he would have said so. Paul, being a pharisee, taught the Gospel through the Tenakh, as did Jesus.

Paul called himself an Apostle of Jesus, and yet he speaks like a prophet. Labels betray actions. For example, the official name of North Korea is Democratic People's Republic of Korea. But the way it is governed is neither democratic nor a republic. It is more like an Autocratic Dictatorship. You could pretend you are listening to a radio and just not look at the image onscreen. The philosophy grad student who taught my class was so good looking he made learning philosophy very difficult for me.

The problem with the historical is it’s filled with speculation, just one phd after another based on speculation. I think you’d appreciate the characters and the stories of the bible if you left historicity out of it, and just enjoyed it through imagination and the craft of story telling, the art of writing. Philosophies will not bring you to any understanding but imagination, well… it’ll reveal everything to you.

@aspectsreflections9420 I can see what your saying without imagination we couldn't create understand or enjoy anything but there are many storys to appreciate I think my quarrel is to the people that take these storys way to litteraly and expecting others to live by those storys I can find appreciation in comic books and movies but I know they don't truly represent how things are just as I know everyone's opinion is of their subjective experience but I think its true all the knowledge in the world is meaningless if you can't create something from it or use it in an imaginative way

I find it a little hard to believe that he saw himself as a prophet, in the same vein as all other Jewish prophets and Jesus himslef, if he never referred to himself using the same language they they (the other prophets) applied.

The Jews moved away from God and started worshiping idols and other Gods. They rejected their own Messiah, who came the first time before the 2nd temple was destroyed, just as Daniel said he would.

This lady knows nothing. Incredible how she thinks she knows the truth.

​​@@ikennaaghara6268 There is reason why early Muslim believe in prophethood of Muhammad. It was bcz they saw with their own eyes miracles performed by him. Prophecy upon prophecy took place. These peoples were real eye witnesses with names, clan they belong to, biography and lineage that can be traced back up to Muhammad. Their relationship with Muhammad was well known. They were not anynomous eyewitness like typical bible eye witness. Islam has strict rule when it comes to verifying sayings of prophet. If you are just an unknown dude who happent to met Muhammad once, you can not be considered as a reliable source let alone a self apointed apostle like Paul who never met Jesus once in his lifetime 😅

Then you understand that it is not Paul himself but God through Paul who is letting all who will believe, repent, and live there faith, that they will enter into God's Kingdom. The wise must become foolish, the strong must become weak, and all must humble themselves before the throne of God IN THIS LIFE if you wish to dwell with God for eternity.

When God tells you how old Ahaziah was (2 Kings 8:26 & 2 Chronicles 2:22) how old he actually was, lemme know. Surely God doesn't make mistakes, or select people to dictate wrongly to scribes who wrongly write things down.....right!?! I mean we can all claim our religious messages MUST be right emotionally, but bottom line God doesn't make ANY mistakes, and his scripture would be proof of that, not have numerical differences.

​@@Abzy886 a lot of problems come about from trying to translate from hebrew because its so archaic a language. They lack adverbs and adjectives and never reference maternal lineage and instead write maternal lineages as paternal subsets. This is evident in the example you gave It, It is commonly understood that the 1st kings reference is his true age of beginning his rule 22, and that 42 is the age of his families dynasty when he takes over. This is not the only time this system is used and fits well into historical jewish record keeping. Similar to the contradictions in genealogy of Jesus in Matthew vs luke.

so how do we end up with two different creation stories in Genesis 1 and 2, 2 different Noah flood stories that were spliced together, and 2 different birth narratives for Jesus that are at least 8 years apart? Seems like there are a lot of double traditions forced into the book. Hmmm.

@@BasedKungFu the genesis and flood stories follow ancient story telling technique in which an overview of the current delima is established first then the story unfolds (priestly vs yahwist stories), wiki covers that well enough so cursory google searches can show that for you, hebrew tradition just spaced these account apart in terms of origin. And the difference given on the date of the census are not inherently contradictory, they can and have been harmonized.

@@smithjohnson617 Apologist will harmonize anything. You guys have proven that for millennia. That's not how those stories are told. Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 are two different stories. Genesis 2 even does you the favor of including transition words to show that the order is different from Genesis 1 so no amount of apologetics can change what the actual text says. As far as the Noah flood story, God makes his promise to Noah twice, he gives Noah two different instructions for which animals to bring, we get two different claims of how long the flood was, and we get two different claims about where the water came from. That's why you can separate the Noah story into two separate, cohesive narratives. You couldn't do that if the writer was simply providing an overview before diving into the details. And there's no way to have Jesus born in 6 CE and also in the reign of King Herod the Great.

The Bible says "my people perish for lack of knowledge ". And the Holy spirit is not one with the stupid. The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom.,read your bible. And oh, the saint Paul lived his life to do God's work, yes, He was an apostle thus apostle Paul and that makes him a prophet.

Paul also thought there were different types of prophets. The gospels make Jesus more pagan and enticing to pagans, by adding some lines that make him equal or even better than pagan myths in the area at the time.

@@letsomethingshine The primary target audience in the Gospel with maybe the exeption of Luke were primarily from Jews to jews, as a rule of thumb the less ortodox scripture is the less jewish or even human Jesus becomes.

You are lost and you need Jesus Christ. He loves you mam and He died for you. If you believe in Him and what He did for you, you will be saved.

The problem is Paul teaches opposite of Jesus so if he was an actual apostle he would not go against the teachings of Leah’s not to mention him and the real apostles that knew Jesus were always being talked bad about by Paul. None of what you just said is true. Paul certainly didn't teach lawlessness. You clearly don't understand what law is in effect and what covenant we are in. The old covenant is no longer in effect. People really frame Apostle Paul as fraud without even reading their Bible. Why would a Christian hater and a Jewish scholar take a complete 180° turn and preach the Gospel amongst the Gentile people? But Jesus did not write John 18:36 .... that was what Jesus ALLEGEDLY said according to the Anonymous author of John. And interestingly, that dialogue is not found in the synoptic gospels Mark, Matthew, and Luke. It's only in John.

@billy38010 Exactly. Nobody knows. These are all HEARSAY. Some narratives in John were even invented by authors. Like the story of Jesus and the Adulterous Woman. That story was not mentioned in the earliest manuscripts of John. Which means someone came up with the story and inserted it in the Gospel of John many years later. Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead is never mentioned in Mark, Matthew, and Luke. Meaning, the authors of the synoptic gospels never heard of such an incident taking place. If they could invent the Adulterous Woman story, that means they could also invent the Lazarus story.

😂 Christians are followers of Paul and his gospel. Paul never met Jesus, unless you take his word for his encounter. Paul openly murdered the followers of Christ. He had very little association with the apostles or their teachings. In his own words. Jesus never preached the Bible. It's just words of men written afterwards. Jesus preached THE GOSPEL not four contradictory gospels. Paul was not a prophet not a disciple. How wrong is it that followers of Christ would listen to a man that contradicts Christ's teachings. Think about it.

Paul went through a lot for the gospel and die for the gospel. What did you went through for the gospel? Those demons know Jesus they know Paul how about you? Do they fear you? This is how we know we are in end Times. Rebels against the gospel. You need deliverance. Greatest sin is against the Holy Spirit. We will all be judge according to our works. This is the spirit of anti-christ. Yet we are against each other. Satan is laughing cause his plans is working on some of you. Wake up. Jesus chose Paul for the gospel. Wake up repent. Jesus Christ is coming.
