Kathy Najimy also plays Dr. Femus in the footage of the defunct Disney World attraction ExtraTERRORextrial Alien Encounter, which was a dark humorously horror ride where people sat strapped in special seats while being attacked a humongous alien monster that mostly moved around in the dark around the room, with speakers and the shoulder straps gives you the sound and feel that the alien was touching you while moving around (plus air blowers and a special cushion made the feeling like it was breathing at you and licking your head, and a special water sprinkler sprayed on people making them think it could be the creature's saliva or the blood of a technician that gets killed and eaten, plus when the alien explodes at the end). Originally the attraction would have been themed on the Alien franchise using the Xenomorph instead and the company behind the teleportation demonstration would have been Weyland-Yutani, making this an indirect connection with Sigourney Weaver, who voices the computer in WALL-E.

Interesting. Something else I remember is that the apple noise was also used again in Cars 3. The credits of that movie had a bunch of past Pixar movie references; including a "Buy-N-Large Raceway" icon.
Your the best!! You make me cheer
I thought this video was old enough to Not include Encanto
I didn’t know the Roach had a name. Also, I thought A113 was the unit number of the Autopilot on the Axiom, not the operation code. Didn’t really realize the number was an Easter egg until I started watching these videos. Lol

Since he's not named referred to by name anywhere in the movie, it's not the least surprising many don't. I thought A113 was some sort of secret door or file. Something else I remember is that the apple noise was also used again in Cars 3. The credits of that movie had a bunch of past Pixar movie references; including a "Buy-N-Large Raceway" icon.
They actually watched some Harol Lloyd but stopped when they became a bit fatigued from watching so many silent films. THis have been comfirmed in the audio commentary by director Andrew Stanton.

I so look forward to watching the audio commentary, unfortunately it's not on the Blue-Ray version. I'm sure it's absolutely wonderful. :)
Me hears the world “Hal”. My brain: MEGAMIND.
Was anyone else just waiting for Short Circuit to be mentioned? Ahaha

I had though about the similarity before, though I forgot the name of the movie and robot. But now I know. :)
Wall-e’s name actually has A113 Remove the W and the Ls look like Ones and the E looks like a backwards 3 replace those letters with numbers and you get A113

True.
And wall-E looks like the gravity gun from the first person shooter half-life 2 and EVE also looks like the portal gun from the puzzle game portal!

It appears that wall-e can fix himself so he should be able to fix other wall-es the only explanation for this is that he does not know how to repair sentience. Hm.

I agree with the other three commenters - PLEASE no WALL.E 2! Even Mr. Stanton said that as a love story, it works better as a stand-alone. There are two short stories taking place afterwards. There's also a prequel comic series. If anyone's interested - ask me and I'll try to find the sources for you.
