    The gentleman (Owen... hope I've spelt his name right) fishing the turbo out and putting it back onto the back of the engine THAT IS WHAT WE ARE PAYING FOR. I suspect many hours of grazed knuckles and a lot of blue air brought the knowladge of how to get those turbos off and back on again. Hope your all wearing knee pads to keep yourselves from long term injuries, however good good stuff thanks as always.

    You've hit the nail on the head, that's where the cost is the ironing out of all the issues. Also getting the bits off and on the car/engine man alive when I think of the times I've not had a fucking clue of how to get at stuff.

    i referenced your video to another builder using the same engine( building the raptor(diesel aircraft)) and your results/data are quite similar....

    quick question. front mounted intercooler on a rear engine van, good idea or not? i'ts a VW T3 with an 1.9 td AAZ engine in it with a tiny K03 turbo, i think it's called T25 in UK. i'm not aiming for a bunch of power, but better economy and hopefully a longer life time.

    Are you guys more involved in vag products? Because I’ve got a MG ZT cdti with the bmw Diesel engine and I’m wanting to go for a bigger turbo & injectors but nobody seems to do any upgrades for them.

    Coolum motors are the bomb I’ve got my high flow turbo and water meth waiting to get installed it’s going to be the quickest one on the coast besides Steve’s haha

    Coolum Motors do top work. Intercooler and remap in v6 is day night difference.

    I also have a 2012 Touareg TDI and I’m interested in seeing what I can do as well. What are my best and smartest options for more HP and Torque? Great videos keep up the great work!     Have you ever played with the ford range 3.2 ? I wondered what sort of gains could be had as 200bhp seems low for such a big engine.

    Oliver Richardson don’t bother champ, that 3.2 is a heap of shit, I had a 2014 ranger that smoked 3 engines in 3yrs, all under warranty but the work I lost from down time was horrific

    Maybe stupid question ! Why cant the Vw T6 be tuned with a simple Turbo upgrade or Intercooler and so on ... cant seem to find antything about it. Amarok & T6 engine arent so much different right ?

    We do have one here that we purchased with a failed injector but we have not seen many cases of this. We hear the fuel in the US is not as good quality as here in the UK so maybe this is the same in Brazil?

    400HP....WOW!!!! I have a new manual Rok, we need to do this to one. Just need to sort the clutch 🤣🤣. High EGT's is too much fuel in a diesel. Is it smoking when when coming onto boost?

    Taylor40667 the 3.0 is a solid lump and people get 500bhp out of them no issue, and that gearbox is used in other VaG applications with 700bhp

    When the customer comes in with cylinder bore scuffing maybe sell him up to a LS swap :). .Then it won't sound like the ute has AIDS. Impressive numbers anyway but seeing these types of engines during development at a manufacturer level they don't last long when the cylinder pressure rise rates are too high.
