Great video. From H-Town as well! Stayed at Banyan Tree in December, and I am heading back there in the summer. But I hope to stay at all 4 Mayakoba resorts. Rosewood looks amazing!!! But I do enjoy the full-size pools of Banyan Tree.

We stayed mostly in the ocean room and hung out in the lagoon room to capture the experience. Because we love the ocean so much, we chose the ocean room. But the lagoon room was very quiet and peaceful :)

Great video! I'm headed there next week for the first time. Looks like you used a drone? I want to take one but policy says they are strictly prohibited. Are they lax on this rule? If not obnoxious with it?

@@davishansen1516 THAT's the way to do it! You're not the 1st couple of travelers who've been creative enough to try that. Another couple actually got a couple of FREE NIGHTS for doing a MUCH smaller (mom & pop-type) boutique hotel's photoshoots for their web page! And yet ANOTHER couple of young accountants (on vacation) in another town did another boutique hotel's Mexican PROPERTY TAXES. They got a few free nights too!

We considered this for our wedding after touring it. Ultimately would have done it but rooms are pricey and our guests would not be able to afford so we ended up doing it as Paradisus Playa Del Carmen which was very nice and well priced.

I know this is an old post but I love the long sleeve dress you wore at the airport. Do you have a link for it? We are going here and would love to wear that dress. Thank you for all the great Rosewood info!
