I'm Pete, I play guitar! Having fun with metal guitar doing everything from modern metal, extended range 7 strings and 8 strings to thrash metal on a good old 6 string. Riffs in the styles of other bands, shredding and lots of fun with metal music!

It might be more chunky tonally speaking, but I'd argue that it feels a bit lifeless. Cool idea though.

Should of just kept it with the 6 string and down tuned or something. The guitars are kind of muddy and the riffs don't have that definition they would if you were using a 6 string tuned down a bit. This sounds like every other new metal band out there with the 7 or 8 string guitars to me. It definitely didn't sound like MOP besides the one riff.

Liked it but... like the original version better ;) Heavier is not always better. (your up tuned metal is still one my top picks)

It is. Its way heavier. Maybe that cause I don’t like older rock/metal cause its standard tuning and doesn’t sound heavy

It’s personal preference, I think. Some like super low tuned stuff and some like higher tuned stuff, I like a bit of both haha :)
