Vapor 11 was my favorite mercurial boot ever. Very responsive and tight fit, barefoot sensation.

Looking back from 2024, Mercurial 12 is definitely revolutionary, we can see many elements from mercurial 12 in 13,14 even 15

Josh I think you should start doing a poll in each of your review videos. It would be interesting to see what your viewers think of new boots etc

That separate stud plate worries me. It doesn't look like there's a higher lip around the front to prevent separation.

That really bothers me because that was the first place to show significant wear before they added the clear lip to the previous generation and other lines.

Punch had multiple vapor 11’s and after one practice or game I had sole separation. The lip doesn’t do anything

Jr Martinez the vapor 11 is an amazing shoe no doubt about that but the vapor 10 had more of a "mercurial" experience than the vapor 11

Sometimes the choices in SR4U laces are not incredibly complimentary or stand out. But this time it makes the new Vapor look 100% better. Right on the money Josh!

Prefer the looks of the Vapor 11 but I’m sure there will be many other colors to come out... Also nice to see the split sole making a return since the predator powerswerves

I bought nothing but adidas in the past bc they feel more comfortable overall. I wanted to try nike out so I got the vapor 12. After playing in these shoes, I'd have to say that the Adidas shoes are more comfortable, but I did get better touches with the vapors.

Hmmm I'm a bit nervous about the width because the Vapor 11's were perfect for my narrow feet

The drama for the split sole is nice..

First person on internet to talk about the placement of swoosh. For me it just doesn't seem to be mercurial with that positioning of the swoosh

I personally prefer the Tiempos, but they're both excellent boots. It just depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.

Just to hide the fact that stud pattern is same as the vapor 11, they split the sole plate.

By the way josh you need to consider long drive to the indoor field for a play test of this cleats

Hi Josh, could you do a review of the Nike MercurialX Vapor 12 Pro Indoor and the Under Armour Magnetico Select IN (They said it features ClutchFit 2.0 Technology). Very much appreciated and thank you.

Sorry to say, but they did screw up the Vapor 12.It's not as tight as the Perfect Vapor 11. I don't know if it's because of the new fabric or if they made it wider in the front, but many soccerplayers is "sliding" with the foot inside the shoe when they make quick turns or make a hard pass.Can not recommend this shoe, it's a step Down from the near Perfect Vapor 11.Hope Nike sees the mistake and make a tighter Vapor 13.

The question isn’t if it’s better than the vapor 11, the question is, is it better than the flyknit ultras

I haven't watched any reviews on either shoe yet but by the looks of it the only difference between the new Superfly and vapor is the collar. Kind of a bad move if you ask me because the cheaper one will sell more which is probably the vapor even though they will probably give the Superfly more publicity. The last generations of the two were better because they were different.

Now that you’ve tried this, do you recommend Vapor 360 or Hypevenom 3? Love my Vapor VIIIs and Hypervenom 3 DFs but want to pick up a low cut flyknit boot.

No. These are still the most responsive boots from Nike as well. I go over all of the details in the video.

Hey Josh! I've been wondering: Which boots would you say are the best that don't feature a one-piece upper on the market right now? If I recall correctly most of the top-end models nowadays are featuring something like that, or at least doesn't really have a tongue - which indicates to me that it's kind of that. Today a package arrived to me containing two pairs of Puma shoes: one is an Evopower 1.3 and the other is a EvoSpeed 1.5, and these boots gave me the idea to ask this question.

Everything from Mizuno is great! The new UA Magnetico is really good as well. Those are the first few that came to mind.

After this i feel like the magista obra 2 elite will also be flyknit

I acutally do mind the design of the superfly 6 or the vapor 12 but the design of the ic and tf look better than the fg version

Can you do a nemeziz vs predator video? And preferably the .1 models because they’re the best

Now the question is how are the turf indoor variations gonna be changed

can we say that this is like a face-lift from superfly v to superfly 360? minor differences between the 2 boots, the major one being that there is a split soleplate.

These are significantly different from the Superfly 5. They feel and compare more closely to the Vapor 11 than they do the Superfly 5.

Do you prefer these to the Flyknit Ultras? I listened to what you said in the video and I'm curious as I'm getting the impression the upper on the FU is nicer

I think this is a more refined variation of what Nike did with the Flyknit Ultra. I really like the grip aspect of the Flyknit Ultra, but I prefer the way these fit.

It's early for me to have a definitive position on that, but I'm definitely leaning more towards these. I liked the Flyknit Ultra more than both the Vapor 11 and Superfly 5, and the Vapor 12 is more like the Flyknit Ultra.

I’m thinking about getting these but I already have hypervenom 3 elites in the launch color way. I just don’t know if i should stick with the hypervenoms or not?

The Flyknit Ultra was a limited release. It was never a model that was meant to always be available.

I'm making the switch from superfly to vapor just because the collar looks dumb. IN MY OPINION the collar was better on the Superfly 4 over the 5 and 6.

It was i owned both the vapor 10s and superfly 4 between my sophomore and junior year and i LOVED THE VAPOR wayyyyy more then the superfly

It's too early for me to say for sure that I like one more than the other, but I really like the overall feel of these new Mercurials. They're fairly different as well.

Do u think that being more diffiult to bootleg was a big factor contributing to choosing the split sole design?

I don't think so. There have been counterfeits of boots with a split sole for a log time now.

I have a pretty narrow foot, should I purchase this item?

I think the sole plate looks kinda gaudy and cheap; totally out of place against the more toned down shade of orange on the upper. I'm not into Mercurials, but from an aesthetic standpoint, I think the sole plate and subtle white detailing on the Off-White would look much classier... sans the big colored dots and text. Perhaps there's an alternate universe where Nike would offer different sole plate color options within the same colorway?

Do you prefer the flyknit ultras over the new vapor and superfly?
