Correct me if I’m wrong, but pretty sure the series is 1-0 Boston? That would mean they did in fact WIN it. Pacers did choke but acting like the Celtics had no role in that (Jrues defense on Hali for the turnover, JB chasing down Pascal for the steel, hitting the shot, etc) is just stupid. They literally folded and the pacers folded even worse. Not folding would be if JT made that initial 3 or that turn around midrange to only be down 1. And then tie the game after the free throws. Not Pacers up 3 with a timeout forcing a backwards pass with JB all over siakam to even give them a shot at tieing. Celtics will literally get destroyed by the mavs or timber wolves

ESPN trying so hard not to give the Celtics any credit for this win. The Celtics have lost ONLY 20 games this entire season. The way they talk is like they blow 30 point leads every night and lose. Hitting all kinds of shots. The turnovers were the issue. Reason or record wasn't better is because of our defense. Before ot Boston was below there scoring average. We played solid defense against a very good offensive team. The pacers were at about 80% I would say Boston played about 60% due to kp not being there. Not saying we will win. The thing is buddy .. you expect for Tatum to consistently drop a 30 piece… at times brown or white have been playing exceptionally better than him … it doesn’t help when all the Celtics wanna do is shoot 3s ! Don’t get me wrong I expected the Celtics to make it to the finals from the east … but at times they tend to let the other teams catch up ! Cmon cavs almost pushed it to 6 games and with game 2 if I’m not mistaken they won by more than 10 ? Same thing with the Miami series almost got pushed to 6 games … I was expecting Celtics to make 2 sweeps just because of the “ superstar “ they claim Tatum to be

Edwards can go 6-24 on an Elimination game and claim he had Murray on "lock" (He had 35pts btw) Sports Media praises him. Jason Tatum gives you a 30+ double double with a win and he gets scrutinized... Make it make sense.

Stephen A's anaylsis of the Celtics style of play is spot on. Their play is everything that is wrong with today's NBA. They let double digit leads slip because their offensive strategy is just to play iso ball and launch up 3's until they drop. When they miss 4 or 5 in a row they are letting the other team close the gap. Why can't a player with the physical tools of Tatum drive the lane and draw fouls more often? The C's will literally put 4 players outside the 3 point arch. As a Celtics fans its beyond frustrating. They need to make ridiculous shots to win a game. And thankfully they have a very talented roster that can make those shots, but there has to be a better way to win games.

As of now they’re taking the right steps forward. What matters in the playoffs is WINS and LOSSES and the Celtics are racking up WINS this post season, regardless of how they do it. When Anthony Edwards shot 6-24 in game 7 y’all didn’t say anything and were calling Ant a superstar. When the Pacers took the Knicks 7 games you were raving about the Knicks the whole time and building up excuses for them. This bias is ridiculous.

However, the Pacers did gave max effort and still lost.
