Man these guys deserve SO much credit, to have 5 matches and none of them have felt the same, that is truly an incredible feat. I think if it goes to match 7 we could very possibly see the greatest ladder match in wrestling history. All 6 of these guys are future hall of famers, just incredible minds and workers.

@@syko2695 not really... People want to harp on that week that the best of seven match was last and the drop from the beginning to the end of the show. Last week, MJF vs. Starks was the last match and the show had virtually the same drop. The problem is people tuning out the end of the show. I bet when the ratings for tonight's episode come out, we'll see the same drop with Shida vs. Hayter.

@CoryTheRaven Retaining 90% means they lose 95k every time they're on screen. The women do better than that half the time and they don't even have enough space on the show to tell their stories. Losing 10% of your audience every time you're on the show really isn't something to shout about.

Yup, seen a few complaining that they keep having the same match over and over again but last nights was totally different and I'd expect the next 2 (assuming there's no swerve and we do get the ladder match) to be different too. They've kept it way more fresh than most 'best of' series I can think of, they had a lot of stuff on the outside before the bell in one of the other matches that gave it a different feel, the injury angle in another, they've definitely gone out of their way to not make the matches stale and I've enjoyed all of them in their own way.

I have to disagree, I love AEW I love both these teams but they have all been very very similar because all 6 wrestlers have similar styles. This would have been far far better of it had been 2 different types of teams. They are getting a bit boring now.

I really like the confrontation of these stars and it is clear that they are fully invested in it. Of course, it's already harder to surprise, but you can't drink professionalism and you can see how cool everything looks from the point of view of entertainment and the sporting nature of the warriors! I am glad and this is the perfect start to the celebration with salads and champagne!

Just because someone loses something doesn’t mean they’re getting buried, don’t be stupid. The obvious story happening with death triangle is if they’re going to split because fénix doesn’t like how aggressive pac and penta are being or if they’ll all turn heel together at the end
