    Have you guys watched the clips of this kid, specifically his interviews pre & post draft? This kid is super confident and that is half the battle. He will want the ball. Can't wait to see him in summer ball. This kid is going to crack the line up with his attitude. Great job Brad Stevens!!

    Last pick in the 1st, what more could you want. He is a mature guy who can shoot, pass, rebound and jump into the rotation and help the team now. He is also Hauser insurance. Older rookies are golden tickets now under new CBA. He is a perfect fit for us.

    He also has his super high basketball IQ, he’s gritty and exert lots of effort… And he is a gutsy clutch player who performs great in high-pressure situation‘s.

    He is a top-notch rebounder. As a guard, he had nine rebounds a game in the big east, which is a major accomplishment.

    I don't think people realize Houser is 14th all time on the NBA 3 pt percentage list. He is in between Steph Curry (12th) and Klay Thompson (20th). Houser is an absolutely elite 3 point shooter.

    Due to his great rebounding, excellent three-point shooting and his height being able to guard multiple positions, I think he will take minutes from Prichard. he can also be a replacement for houser in a year or two… And he could be super helpful if any of the top seven rotation players get injured.

    Work ethic, fearless, seeks contact,lights out from 3, totally unselfish passing wizard. A little clod footed but great space creator. I think he could play PG like a Marcus Smart plus 4 inches, plus 3's.

    Another way to look at it is maybe they wanted to draft someone who they felt was ready to come in and take some minutes right away so that they can lighten the load of their main guys who just played 101 games. And that's not even taking into account the guys who will be playing in the Olympics this summer.

    I thought they were going to draft the Center from Duke. Horford is old and KP stays hurt. A year from now he’d be a regular part of the rotation at center. Seems like he has a short arms though? I’m not a scout so I’m not saying I know better.

    Scheierman is a replacement for Pritchard. Celtics know Pritchard is not happy and wants to get more time. He's just not good enough to get meaningful time..scheierman is what Pritchard was supposed to become. Well. Hopefully

    @@accordgolfer we know Pritchard has been wanting more time in the game. He was barely used in the finals. He's going to want to get out . Celtics know that. Schiereman can play a similar role to Pritchard. Just like how they adjusted brown and white to play PG. They don't have a true PG and don't need one with the way basketball is played today

    @@xavierlaflamme8773 he played every single game. He's not unhappy with his role. Why would he sign that extension if he wasn't happy? At the beginning of the previous season he did say he wanted to play regularly. And then he did. That's an old narrative

  • @xavierlaflamme8773

    @xavierlaflamme8773

    @accordgolfer he signed the extension because likely it was the best deal need get . Reality is he's not as significant as he makes himself out to be. He wants to be a major contributor for a team but he lacks the size and talent for that level. He's the best if what he can be on the celtics which is a number 8 or 9 guy. And comes in to give the starters a rest. He was used like that in the finals as well. I dont know if we watched watched same games but he didn't get meaningful minutes in the final. I see this scheierman selection as a swap for Pritchard or st kraft insurance should Pritchard want to at some point bolt.

    @@xavierlaflamme8773 nobody on the bench got significant minutes in the finals. That's a totally different scenario. The starter are playing 40+. He's a fine back up PG and will continue to be that for the duration of this contract

  • @Paul_pp

    I'd say NFL is more because of so many positions. In basketball you can tell if a guy can ball or not. It's definetly a lot tougher to project young 18-19 year old one and done guys that have more potential then actualy skill. 3-5 years of college ball is a lot easier to Project.
