Its simple biology
Every good looking man gets propositions from other men often. That's not a secret or something to be amazed about.

I was approached once so I had to ask the guy why he chose me. He said something like, "Well, you're good looking and you're wearing the clothes." I was wearing jeans, tennis shoes and a shirt with a button down collar...common duds. I didn't know there was any significance. Live and learn. Nice fellow and I wished him good luck. Back to boat shoes, I guess.

@@wholeNwon similar situation, in Chicago in mid 90’s for an executive marketing class from NW after which visited a friend and girlfriend. Went out for dinner ran into a cute girl and started talking. My “ friend” left me thinking I’m gonna get lucky. A bad choice in my opinion what with not having his address, not rental car, or phone I was on street. I catch a cab and managed to direct the driver to his place. Outside phone didn’t work. Saw neon light and assumed hotel so started walking... when I got closer I saw what the sign said “ Eagles Mens Club”. After that pretty much the same. Walked back to my friends place and shivered the rest of the night.

Met Sam at the Chevron gas station in Trancas, CA (suburb of Malibu). Not being star struck, I just wanted to thank him for his contribution to the arts and the entertainment our family has received from his work. Sam struck up our conversation and then found out I had spent a number of years in El Paso (where his parents are from). That led to 20 minutes. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Not a pretentious bone in his body. What you see is what you get with Sam. Funny ... Katherine Ross (Sam's wife) was a star in the 1st movie I ever attended (The Graduate).

His parents are from El Paso? I know he went to H.S. in Portland, OR, so I wonder if they lived there before or after.
Who would be surprised if he did? Dude was GORGEOUS!!!
He was so dreamy and still is. As a teen I pined away endlessly for him. The only other Hollywood men that held a candle to him were Jan Michael Vincent and James Conrad. He was the only stand out in the movie Frogs. Without him it would have been utterly forgettable. I wonder if Cher had anything to do with casting him in Mask. I could see it if she found him as unforgettable as I did. He was like a studly version of Sonny. He is handsome without the mustache, but smoking hot with it. It's so awesome that he did finally succeed in spite doggedly sticking to him moral code. Good for him.

I saw Lifeguard when I was 12. Sam Elliott has held my attention ever since. He has an incredible and unique screen presence. The fact that he was not overexposed has served him well. There's no one else like him, so his appearances in any project are always a welcomed treat.

My husband is constantly asked if he is Sam Elliot, he has a deep dreamy voice & a gentleman . Before I met him the girls in the lab I worked in were always talking about Sam Elliot & one girl could do his deep voice & we all laughed. Later after we started dating I never mentioned what my boyfriend looked like just told them ,I loved his voice & thought he was cute. I brought him to the company Christmas Party & in his suit he was actually a hit of the party. I had many people at work if he was a guy from the movies lol , he’s a retired welder ha ha we have been married 10 years now he is still handsome & better than ever. I always tell he should do a podcast or read books because his voice is so soothing.

Not really fair, is it? I, personally find middle age women most attractive. I think the 30's-early 40's are a woman's most gorgeous years as long as they don't let themselves go. I love nothing more than the intelligence and sophistication that younger women rarely have.

In Hollywood? Of course they hit on him. He's got IT in spades. His physical beauty is almost unmatched. Robert Conrad and Tom Selleck are his equals. Selleck has had a very long marriage to his wife and so has Elliott. Conrad also had TWO long marriages-one for 25 years with 5 children and his other marriage lasted 27 years. The second marriage was to a much much younger woman and ended when he was 75. All these super handsome guys stuck by their ladies.
I love him as Mayor West in Family Guy!!! He filled in for Adam West as Adam's cousin after Adam West passed away in real life. I recognized his voice immediately 💯❤️
He's aged very well, like fine wine.
Even my husband has a man crush on Sam Elliott, lol.

He scared me so much in the mini-series Murder in Texas. He played a doctor who posions his wife played by Farrah Fawcett. He was awesome. In the series the Ranch on Netflix. I loved that series. He's a good looking guy.
LOVVVVE SAM ELLIOTT!!!! ♥️
Thank you and learned a lot
Why wouldn't he. He was a good looking man. I don't know ANY man who hasn't been hit on by another guy. My guy was taken very much by surprise when a good friend declared himself deeply in love. He told him "I am incredibly flattered, but I only am attracted sexually to women. He was, in fact, the best man at his wedding and friends until the guy died. It happens
Now I finally have some understanding as to why he never became a bigger star. I always thought he was class A leading man maternal.
He was soooooo hot in the movie Lifeguard.
I remember the first time seeing Sam Elliott in the movie The Golden Compass and I fell in love with his voice. I saw him again in A Star is Born. It's a pity he always got minor roles, but he seems to be a very humble and down to earth gentleman. We need more people like him.
My bro lived in the same apartment (unbeknownst to him) as Sam Elliott in L.A. for several years., until the manager told him who once stayed there.
I never thought Sam had a gay relationdhip! He was always such a gentleman and I'm sure men were attacked to him, I don't think he ever crossed that line.
Total HUNK MATERIAL!💕🔥🔥🔥
He reminds me of Peter Graves in the suit and no mustache. Legendary mustache and voice 🙌
Elliott did not have the mustache in Mission Impossible and other shows early on like Mannix. He had a crooked face so the mustache made it less so.
😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I love that he's still with his Beautiful wife Katherine. 😊

6’.2” hunk. His beautiful hairy body. 🐶

You're forgetting his voice which everyone comments on other channels
Good looking, real man, nothing fake about him, steadfast moral courage, great hair, his voice, can truly handle a horse, believable like Charles Bronson.
I’m a little younger than some of the viewers here, but I feel in love with in in the movie “Mask”!
He is gorgeous
He was INCREDIBLY sexy throughout his life.
He was so MANLY and straight. I would have shamelessly let him have his way with me.
Sam Elliot has been acting so long - there's literally an Actor-Category named after him: The 'Sam Elliot Type' character/roles.
It seems that most women like a hairy chest but it has to be on a certain kind of man. I don't understand this trend since the mid to late 1980s to be a hairless chihuahua. Young men shaving their bodies in the gym and taking selfies of their six pack of abs is so weird to me and probably my generation born in the 1950s.
@ccmarcum
Жыл бұрын
His hairy chest was perfect and a sign of virility. I agree that shaving male bodies is repellent and looks like a Ken Doll-pink plastic But in the '4'0's and 50's, they even shaved actors' underarms. Check out Tarzan sometime. For women, chest hair is equal to large breasts on a woman to men . Women couldn't care less about six-packs.... sign of narcissism.

U can tell he’s a cuddler
I am visibly asymmetrical, scoliotic, kyphotic, long-legged, gangly, misshapen, myopic, bookish, pasty, etc. Yet on a handful of occasions, men asked me if I was "kweeeeer!" Some perversely wanted to beat me up; I could outdistance them in a sprint. Others made overtures the meaning of which baffled me. I evaded them, too.
Yes, of course!
i liked him in the movie M.A.S.K
I like him in a movie called The frogs from the early 70s
He reminds me a lot of LQ Jones? Any of you think so also?
I wouldn't be surprised.. the question is, although it's none of our business, did he give into those propositions?
Great actor in spite of his screwed up politics.
Sam Elliot was a great looking sexy guy but people rarely separate the "Hollywood" image which varies from the real person. People do not really know him. Personally I fail to see the attraction to the images of him because they are fake. Even in interviews celebrities do not show their true colors. As manly as he appears to be, some might find that image to be boring because most men are. Who is he really as a person? Who really knows except those he married or his family. People that get by on their looks tend to not work on themselves. The men that I admire most are not macho types. Why should I bother to write further? No one cares what I think yet perhaps they should.
He's too loud. But I like his acting. Loved him in "Murder in Texas" as Dr. Hill.
I'm unfamiliar with the concept of an "unpredictable lanky nature"
The question is inane. Why wouldn't he have had propositions from men?
Of course he was propositioned. Even Clark Gable and Clint Eastwood supposedly had to put out to get ahead in Hollywood. And I am not talking about women.
My favorite Sam Elliot clip is when he was on Gunsmoke the rancher who does not want him seeing his daughter throws an injured Sam over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes, seeing him so vulnerable was rare. When you get old you say things you regret and he apologized for criticizing the film Power Of The Dog when he said the cowboys resembled Chippendales dancers "who wear bowties and not much else" on stage. "That's what all these f---ing cowboys in that movie looked like. They're all running around in chaps and no shirts, there's all these allusions to homosexuality throughout the f---ing movie," He later apologized.
He did some homophobic remarks recently
The title of this video is extremely misleading. The last 8 seconds of it mention he was probably attractive to gay men. The title should have been SAM ELLIOTT AND HIS MUSTACHE. 🙄
Why in the hell did you lead into this Title story of this post & then barely touch on the topic... Bad Reporting on your end 🤔
I should hope so.

So god damn good looking, and that voice!
What would be so shocking if he was propositioned?
Of course he did. He's a Hollywood actor.

It would be a strange and ugly world if he were NOT propositioned by men,, He was hot. And he remains a superbly attractive man,
