I have only ever sold 2 leggy frogs at markets, and I'm in California. I feel like they are really hit or miss everywhere. Congratulations on all your sales! The birds are super cute

I had already sold a booty frog (IG pattern) and only had leggy frogs left and I heard a few kids tell their parents they’d want the frog if it looked more like a frog which was interesting to me! P.s. it’s always warm here in FL and at the five markets I’ve done so far I’ve only sold 3 total leggy frogs

I'm so glad I found this video and your channel! I'm a knitter and I want to do some craft markets but I think I've found one other video about Australian markets 😅 I'll definitely be following along if you do any other markets in 2024!

Hi Mel, YT recommended me your video. I have never tried crochet and never searched for it, but enjoyed your story. Good luck for future markets. What about to add some starter pack, you have mentioned kids, there might be someone, who would like to try themself. Could be easy product. Not sure how hard or easy it is in your country to buy the supplies elsewhere. Just idea. Take care.

Hey Mel I'm crocheting amigurumi with Chunky Chenille Blanket Yarn and would love to sell at a market one day soon. I live in Adelaide and I'd like to know where you purchase your yam from, particularly chunky chenille blanket-style yarn.

Hi Tracey! Good luck with your first market!!! The blanket style I use I got lucky with in Spotlight mill end bags. Source of Fibre's unreal chenille is similar to blanket in feel but not as thick 😅 the plush I use for most of the Amis in this vid is Hobbii's Honey Bunny. Hope that helps!!
