If you have a chance visit Bauska. It has a nice castle. If you'll go on halloween, then you might also catch a spooky exhibition next to that castle.. Also, Bauska often has markets. And close to Bauska there's a beautiful palace. Hit me up, if you need a guide ;)

Riga is a town where even locals can discover new stores, cafes, interesting little spots all over the town. But for that you need to walk and keep your eyes open and look less in the phone. Respect to Justin for showing some interesting spots in Riga.

I wish I knew about these croissant places before. We went to Paris few years ago and finding best croissant was on our list to do. Unfortunately, we weren’t that lucky but next time I go home, I’ll know where to look. 🙂. Thanks, Justin!

I have been to Riga 4 times between 2001-2003 when I was still living in Sweden. the city was very beautiful with beautiful ladies but people overall weren't that friendly. they had that soviet dryness and cold attitude. but overall a nice place to visit.

I agree, I visited Riga twice and some of the women were amazing. Mind you, as a tourist just walking the streets, it does not really help! If you live in Riga and you have such long cold winters it is understandable that people are not going to be very happy but I suppose the same must be true of Sweden. In fact, winters in Sweden would almost certainly be even longer and colder.
