I thoroughly approve of your philosophy concerning artifact vs. coin . So many detectorists get way too centered on "silver" . It's refreshing to hear that you have an appreciation for historical(even if simple) objects😊.

I would be 100% happy finding something strange looking that I can spend time at home trying to work out what it is and how old it is over a hammered coin any day of the week. Well maybe not a gold one but that’s a discussion for another video 😂👍

Great video Michael! Super finds and gorgeous video. Always good to see another of your videos. I was thinking toy soldier base as well. Lead soldiers is something I have found numerous of here in California. Thanks again for taking us along…. John

@@OMA_MetalDetecting Michael it does get hot here in the summer but we say it’s a dry heat as not to much humidity. Keep up the great work.

Your first find is the baseplate to a 1/32 scale figure or soldier . CBG , W. Britain's , ect. Probably Crescent Co. ltd. , if it's unmarked. Mid 20th century😊

Another cracking days detecting 👏 love the drone shots and the camera angle at 3:50 showing the elevations of the field. I just dont think that field is big enough for you though 😂

When you go in a field that’s that big compared to the size of your coil it is always daunting isn’t it. There was enough there for a club to do I am sure Chris 👍👍

It's not that old it's only 1700s🤦🏼‍♂️🤣. Now that 1500s (Tudor?) that's old. Great video, amazing finds Michael. Thanks for sharing. *Chris*

I do sometimes forget that our history is so deep that even the stuff that’s a few hundred years old is considered very old to some. I’m always happy to find it though as everything has a history 👍👍
