My first thoughts when I saw the ELF lip oils wasn’t Dior, all the colors were actually mimicking Merit.

Elf lip oil has more color than Dior lip oil. Jam Session by Elf is similar to Sangria from Merit

@@daft_j Is it? I thought Sangria might be more pigmented. The shade Falcon from Merit is super pigmented. I think the most pigmented Elf shade is Rose Envy.

Blush never lasts on my skin. The reason I love the Rare blushes is because they last ALL DAY. I would love to buy more shades but they’re pricey to me. So really all that matters to me is if the Elf blush also last all day. Amanda, do you have any insight on wear time?

I saw in another video they (ELF liquid blush) are SO pigmented you just need the littlest bit! & retail for $7 comparable wear time more since it's actually more pigmented than Rares. Hope this helped. xo 💗

Also the color correctors from Elf are amazing and extremely affordable (6€). I’m pale with really dark under eyes and the peach color corrector alone works wonders. I recommend it to everyone in my situation…I know the struggle 😅

A lot of us probably prefer seeing swatches done on actual (imperfect) human skin rather than an overly filled/botox-ed face. Plus, Amanda is so beautiful regardless of any perceived texture “issues.”

So I’m like, a light neutral skin tone (for elf CC cream I come out to a N210) and for some reason I decided to order the ORANGE one first. When it got to me I was like “oh shit this is insanely orange why did I order it” but I put just a small dot in each cheek and when you blend it out it becomes the prettiest like flush on my skin. Like I said I’m a light neutral but I do lean more warm, so the orange is a perfect flush especially for summer, I’m excited for that to roll around. But I wore it for Christmas and I think it’s lovely. I just ordered another color, one of the deeper ones so we’ll see how it looks when it gets to me lol

I use Jam and Rose lip oil everyday, its great with their $2 lip liners. Still not sure if I need more blush, but I like the Mauve and Rose (even though its kinda peach).

Love the ELF gloss! I prefer it to the thick Summer Fridays one & as much as my Tower28

These elf lip oils look gorgeous! I don’t think I’ll be able to try them because of the fragrance, unfortunately (pending allergy testing). But I really do appreciate your thorough swatches and especially the side by side comparisons! And I’m so glad you film even when your skin is going through it. I think it’s so important for people to see real skin doing what real skin does. But, also, I really couldn’t tell.

I bought honey talks almost immediately after it launched 😅 no regrets! I just picked up one of the glossy lip stains in cinnamon dreamz & while i do think it's an interesting formula & quite nice, it almost has a slight drying effect when it wears off. 😢

I wish ELF wouldn’t randomly put rose water in things. In their color correcting concealer, it’s enough rose water to be there but you can’t even really smell it over the other stuff in the formula. These elf blushes have rose water too but it seems a bit gimmicky, whether you really love rose water in products or you hate it.

I thought the lip oils were going to be thin and moisturizing but they’re literally just a regular lip gloss and I was disappointed. Why call them oil 😭 I’m giving them to my sister.
