The difference is there’s ZERO police reports of those accusations of Drake ZERO. But Kenny has a whole video of a security exposing his ways lol the man exposed himself in his music saying he has whole lot of trauma lol a man with that much trauma doesn’t just verbally abuse someone. That also just proves that Drake doesn't understand the Hip Hop culture, he has no respect for the culture, it's all about him. The fact that he's able to have that many fans taking his side blindly without ever questioning anything, that's just to prove that the rap audience nowadays is... pretty weird, to say the least. There's no knowledge exchange on his side, he's not contributing to that part of the culture that used to be one of the best things about it, people taking lessons from everyone and everything happening on the scene, we don't got that with Drake, everyone who follows him blindly seems so... braindead. It's a shame to see him being stepped on like this by Kendrick, but it's also fair in a way.

The biggest takeaway for me is that from the very start Drake lost this “beef” because not only did he not understand his opponent but he doesn’t understand himself. On the other hand Kendrick understands both. He essentially called Drake’s playbook from the start and due to his own hubris Drake didn’t take the smart route of backing off. He knew Drake’s preferred angle of attack in his beefs is to bring family into it. Kendrick said Drake is a master manipulator who stoops low, throws stones and then hides his hand. He explained how Drake is a vulture who pimps out the culture and only adopts aspect of the culture when it is convenient. He talked about how Drake has been in a life long battle with himself and his self identity. He even stole his moment with “meet the grahams” and ended the song listing off all of the things Drake has lied about throughout his career. Hell, as you said, a lot of the accusations Kendrick made are easily verifiable which makes some of the more salacious accusations more palatable whereas with Drake we know he’s a liar and his claims are based on absolutely nothing. His “proof” is so juvenile too. “37 showing up as a 7 year old” Kendrick has never followed his fiancé and she has never followed him but also who the fuck cares? Oh, a close business associate left an innocuous heart emoji under his picture so clearly he had sex with her and that is their secret love child. It just proves Kendrick right on every front because that’s some paranoid shit to immediately jump to those conclusions and probably one of the reason Drake can’t maintain any sort of relationship long term (romantic, personal or business).

@@wearedecyphered Yeah he struck a nerve when he used AI to make Tupac sound like a cornball. I haven't been able to see/hear him in a good light since hearing that. This long voice note of a response with sniffles at the end like he was crying was the nail in the coffin. The whole thing sounds like a long voice note a guy leaves a girl when he's sad and mad ah that she's breaking up with him. I subbed back when I saw your Euphoria reaction. I can tell you have an ear for bars up there with the likes of Scru Face Jean, Knox Hill, NoLifeShaq, etc. Hoping you blow up; so you might have to keep reacting to Drake's music once/if he resurfaces from the rubble (lol) since his fanbase is so huge. But a suggestion for content in the meantime, if you need any: I've always wanted Daylyt's bars explained from his battles, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. All that money's tied up together, and Drake hasn't recouped that $400 million deal they gave him two years back. He's a cash-cow to alot of corporate entities. Like if Kendrick is right then he's calling out a pdf file, if drake right he just made fun of someone's trauma so he can't come out of that looking good. It also makes the bar about hitting Whitney back less hard (which should have been a great bar) because you just been talking about abuse and then you trivialize her abuse into a joke rap bar. I think Drake cleared the writing room after 616. He had to think the mole(s) were somewhere near, mostly likely one of his writers. How would kendrick know all these specific things Drake was going to reference in Family Matters? In MTG he referenced the Ozymepic line, the big D video line(leaking videos to further push their agenda), and several others. Drake probably already had finished Family Matters since he dropped it the same night 616 came out so there were no drops in quality. This is the first song written post 616 and it sounds terrible. Its uncreative. He tried steal the naming convention like Kendrick did. Even his first line is "the Pulitzer prize winner is spiraling". Just a cheaper rehash of kendrick saying "the famous actor we once knew is spiraling" in Euphoria. Except worst because being the only rapper to ever win a Pulitzer Prize is an incredible achievement, while being the kind of actor Drake was, on a show and as characters like Drake was. Kendrick dismantled drake at every level. With his family, his camp, the public, himself... then to continue that thought, this song sounds like drake is quitting. He wont release any more records in this beef because he doesnt have a current writing staff. It all makes sense.

I think Drake might've gotten his domestic violence allegations against Kendrick from "Mother I Sober" as well. In the song, Kendrick says, "Black and blue, image of my queen that I can't erase." Given that the song is part of Mr. Morale, an introspective piece by Kendrick exploring how abuse can manifest itself within survivors, I think Drake might've misunderstood the lyrics to mean that Kendrick was admitting to beating on his wife, Whitney. However, the context of the song is about Kendrick's mother. Kendrick is describing having to witness his mother being abused and how that abuse shaped the way she treated him. It was painful to him to see his mother be so stuck in the pain and fear of facing that abuse as a child. Because of just how badly Drake interpreted the rest of the song, I wouldnt be surprised if he confused this part too.

Drake feels so entitled and has had too much power and influence for too long. His arrogance shows the way he went at Dot’s wife after that’s how he lost his last battle. Underestimating a superior lyricist with morals and integrity which you can’t dig up dirt on was a huge mistake on his part
