His goal is only to stay by Rimuru side, he would never ever even think about it.

The moment Rimuru named diablo, The Black Primordial would never be stronger than our slime demon lord because The food chain doesnt allow it (and also grants rimuru access to all of his subordinates skills, abilities and powers). And rimuru always understimates himself quite a lot

I won't say he underestimates himself. He just doesn't care how strong he is until all his friends and subordinates are safe and happy. Diablo is one of the oldest beings on the planet who is already in the top 10 or 20 strongest beings. If his personality was ok after thousands of years wandering around aimlessly then there is no reason to think that he would change after the evolution. He never seeked out a name, evolution or skills. He just found the slime interesting and wanted to join him...people who want to help because they respect or like a person are the ones you can trust. those who help not asking for rewards but are there because they want to be on a personal level.

He probably could have when he was first introduced to Rimuru during the harvest festival. Well technically it was his 2nd time meeting diablo because in the ova they showed Shizu met him first and now Rimuru is basically Shizu.

Spoiler but it came from the web novel not the light novel so I don’t know if they’ve changed it. Rimuru also eventually get veldanavas old skill called Akashic Records. It’s an ultimate skill that has a copy of legit every other skills in the tensura universe, even if Rimuru creates a new skill and gives it away. So in a sense he does have all powers In the tensura universe.

Depends like he can defeat Rimuru if Rimuru is with Raphael but he can't defeat Rimuru with Ciel

No he cant no matter what, they have a soul corridor that falls under the authority of Covenant king Uriel. As long as this is the case Rimuru has complete control over Diablo’s skills. He can take them away and use them himself. So basically everytime his subordinates get stronger he gets stronger as well.

Hmm, interesting while in the same volume both shion and ultima managed to move, while even Diablo and Zegion as I remember didn't move while it was activated. Unlike the other Guardians, the reason why Diablo didn't have any problem controlling his power from evolution (no slumber) is because he already had that power in the underworld. His original power were just restored rather than gaining new power.

The only reason Diablo wanted to get stronger was so he could use the extra strength to serve Rimuru even better. Guy has the loyalty of a dog lol

Go read properly..diablo was itching to fight against velgrynd cause he was looking for challenge and thought velgrynd might give him dt cause he's a battle freak but he couldn't abandon rimuru who was watching everything at screen in ramiris dungeon cause rimuru life was in danger..the demoness trio was facing a bit difficulty with velgrynd in dwargon and was able to hold her and and get her focus otherwise the green numbers and dwargon wouldve been destroyed and thhat was before being given souls and evolution into true demon lord..after evolution in true demon lord testa alone was enough to hold velgrynd on her own and velgrynd was so irritated cause testa is known for her pride and elegance and like diablo is top at mocking. She was mocking velgrynd the entire time on the ship and velgrynd couldn't even land a hit on her cause testa was too much experienced in battle than velgrynd and velgrynd even admitted how troublesome white primordial was and calls her blanc to which testa again mocks her and velgrynd couldn't do anything to her bruh. Velgrynd would think twice to go against diablo who wasn't limited to his domain like other primordials but use to go wherever he pleased. There is a saying in eastern empire never engage battle with black primordial cause he would be worse than guy crimson if black were to ever get revived as they witnessed white primordial nealy obtaining body and was a nightmare in the empire and obviously the order came from rudra and velgrynd who are friends with guy because guy knows clearly what noir is really capable of.
