Did Coffman's Just Make The BEST Rebel 300/500 Exhaust?!
After all the incredible feedback Coffman's got about their Thunder exhaust for the Rebel 1100, and all the demand from YOU GUYS for a similar system for the Rebel 300 & Rebel 500, Coffman's pulled through with the brand new Rebel 300/500 Coffman's Thunder exhaust!!
This exhaust fits all Rebel 300 & 500's 2017-present, and I honestly think it's now the best option out there for both bikes! While this exhaust fits both the Rebel 300 and Rebel 500, it does sound considerably different on the 300 vs 500 and is much louder on the 300 due to the difference in engine characteristics, etc. as shown in the video. We chose to run the included silencer in the Rebel 300's muffler and remove the included silencer for the Rebel 500's muffler. Both bikes sound incredible, and even with the silencer in, the 300 is still louder than the 500 with no silencer. BUT it's still the quietest, most reasonable exhaust I've heard for the 300.

(The exhaust is the same regardless of if you have a Rebel 300 or Rebel 500, but each bike has their own page on Coffman's website. It doesn't actually make a difference which page you buy through, I just figured I'd give options lol)

The 500 sounds good, but the 300 is too loud. The silencer sounds best.

The video on their website definitely did not do this exhaust justice. Definitely seems like it might be a worthwhile upgrade to make this thing sound a little beefier. The hollow, quiet stock exhaust has been kind of letting me down lately.
The 500 sounds quieter than the 300 for sure
I recommend hanging on to removed parts, especially the exhaust. You may never us it, but it effects the resale value considerably.
Right, so screw the Vance & Hines (or whatchamacallit) exhaust. This is where it's at, clearly.

Got this for my 500 and it is absolutely what you want for this bike. Purrs when idling. Throaty on the low end of your gearing and then gives some nice loud chuts when you pull.
Loved the look on Nina's face, when she heard her bike 👍and when your friend yetted his old exhaust out the yard 😂
I cur about an inch and a half off of the baffle's crimped end. No baffle was too loud and w baffle it was too quiet. I love it now. Perfect mix

I’m saving for a Rebel 300 and though I probably won’t change the exhaust immediately, maybe someday I will cause that sounds amazing. Awesome video!
Well Burch....I did it. I finally bought my first bike. I just bought a 2024 Honda Rebel 500 SE. I also, based on this video, bought a Coffman's Thunder exhaust. I think I'll go with the muted version (silencer in...I like the throatier sound). Bike is being delivered tomorrow....exhaust gets here in about a week to ten days. Cannot wait. That'll give me a week or two to get comfy riding a little bit before I change the exhaust.
I bought the Coffman's for my 2023 Rebel 500. I left the Db killer installed. I love the sound. Great vid.
Man my Vance and Hines muffler for my rebel 500 drones when cruising in 6th gear. I wish I could return it and get this exhaust!
