loved that one and the smokehouse bbq bacon sandwich they had a couple years back as well, they need to make pimento cheese a permanent menu item, it was SO good, it made me buy pimento cheese spread at the store after they ended it!

I’ve made it myself a few times, you just use nacho jalapenos, some good honey, and Aldi “Happy Farms” pimento cheese, and you can do either the regular or spicy sandwich and just doll it up yourself

I did that with the Japanese Iron Chef in the hospital, and it’s my favorite show ever now by far because of it. And cooking shows in general. Hard times. I’ve heard other people have an attachment like that and there you go

I think he just lives in an area that has abnormally high prices, it's only $8.45 for the grilled fillet, $7.49 for the regular fillet where I am (still high but within reason for a "premium" item)

This dude is, hands down, one of the oddest characters on KZread, but he is so freaking entertaining, honest, and very interesting. He reminds me a ton of myself when I was 13-15. Anyone who eats fast food knows that his reviews are nothing short of real. I have taken the time to try several of the items he has* tried, and he has always been spot on with his assessments. I sincerely appreciate the fact that he is making money doing what I wish I could have done. His show is a testament to the power of the internet. If you are fresh, different/unique, and informative, you too can make it anywhere, it does not have to start in New York.

Is there a constitutional amendment that limits the pickles on a chicken sandwich to 2. Every chicken sandwich I've ever been served had 2 pickles, stacked in the middle, so you get one bite of sandwich with pickle.

I remember back in the day in the 80s there was a Chick Fil A in the Puente Hills Mall (Mall seen in Back to the Future 1). They would give out samples om tooth picks like Sam's Club. My parents never bought anything from them so I always would try to go back for more samples lol.

My local CFA has it for 8-and-change. Now don't quote me on this, but I believe he gets the majority of his stuff delivered and that may have an impact on pricing. Or it could just be regional pricing for his area.

That's the combo price. Sandwich by itself is 8.50 roughly but that's still pricey.

I’m actually really excited to try this. I love that kind of sweet maple bacon and the sweet heat flavoring. It’s right up my alley. Also, I really recommend people try their grilled chicken more often. Their breaded is always popular but the grilled deserves more attention

Report of the Week is a national treasure.

YMMV on the price depending on your local area, i was able to get the combo for 12.35 and that was even upsizing the drink from medium to large, kept the medium waffle fries. gotta say, i really enjoyed the sandwich too, though i opted for the crispy filet since i really like the breading on their chicken. Definitely was not spicy, but had really good flavor.

Chick-fil-a does one thing and does it right consistently. They do chicken right, but it is all they focus on. When restaurants focus on a few items rather than a massive amount of items, they tend to focus on making the few items perfect rather than many items mediocre.

For people complaining about the price it really depends on the location. The one I work at has it for about $8.50 still a lot but not $11. My coworkers and I have been obsessed with it. The kitchen smells like pancakes when we toast the maple buns

I work at a chick fil a- I always love your reviews because they are reasonable. I highly recommend that if anyone is up for it, you try the spicy variant. It helps with the flavor of the pepper Jack cheese and brings up the spice to a point where I think it’s a perfect balance- not too spicy at all.

Most things are cheaper in the deep south. I'm from the New York metro area and everything here is sky high. Look at cigarettes for instance. In Georgia, a pack costs like $6.40. Up here, it's like $12.00 a pack!

Sandwich was designed well in that all the flavors worked together, but the one I got was not hot at all. Borderline cold. Like the cheese wasn't even melted in the slightest. S Tier Sandwich bumped down to B tier.

Something seems off about that price as here in Minnesota this Sandwich only costs 8.09 Crispy and 8.99 Grilled and then 12.39 and 13.29 for the meal.

Here, the sandwich is $8.45, with the fried version being $0.96 cheaper, at only. $7.49. It's crazy to think what a difference the area you buy in can make.
