Save up ..go find a Rolex to start...try get the best price..then save more & trade up..maybe sell the first one outright separately..

I’m just not a fan of those blinged out watches. It ruins the original watch and devalues it IMO. You don’t need to add all that stuff to a nice AP.

Most of the blinged out watches you see on rappers and what not are reproduction made with the same materials or different depending on preference of gold content and then the diamonds are added but most of the time the diamonds come in as ordered from overseas. Not many people use real APs for example to get an iced out version, they’re good reproductions made with real gold and diamonds.

That’s wild, a seasoned dealer, and his team go into full blown forensics and it takes a while to come up with a 95% sure conclusion. I remember when the fakes were so obvious but they are really getting incredibly close.

it shows how hard it is to tell the fakes from genuine nowadays, it's scary stuff for people who buy on the grey market.

I always get goose bumps when I watch all you guys enjoying your time together. Especially being on the boat. There’s nothing more relaxing than being on a boat with all the family. It hasn’t been the same since both my in-laws passed back in 2016. I have tears in my eyes cause I think about the amount of pain and sadness my wife is carrying around everyday. I relate your family unit that you all have and it’s the exact replica of my wife’s family had. Thank god everyday you all have those times together cause in a blink of an eye it can all go away. Ended the video at Casablanca! I was just there a few days ago! I was in Miami for the first time since 92(Hurricane Andrew) and I have to say what a magical city it is! Definitely contemplating moving there from LA… there’s something about being around my people that I can’t describe, it’s a great feeling.

Another terrific episode! Really liked Dan talking about trying to keep things raw and not staging or re-enacting things. I don't, in theory, have a problem with staging things for entertainment purposes... but watch dealers aren't actors, and it's often painfully obvious when they try!

Fun Fact: If you don't have the proper tool to take out links on that vintage watch you can use a toothpick. Timepiece Tony did it in one of his videos but make sure you have extra toothpicks because you'll probably drop or break quite a few of the tips off. Another question is that tall nice looking lady really your Mom? If she is you must of had a lot of your pals always hanging around the house growing up!

I tell ya... although I frequent the other watch shows during the week, this one constantly reminds me of the true meaning of perfection. Guys! It's friday night. It's CRM time! Let us all witness what it takes to make a perfect show. The smooth music tickles our ears. The iconic images sharpen our senses. The Heavenly watches stimulate our brain. The satisfied customers go to the ultimate destination like a pilgrimage to Mecca. Betty is let loose... Carlos kisses his son... Dan amazes us again and again with his calm and reassuring leadership... We all anticipate that perfect blend of knowledge and happy, touching moments. In the end, our favorite family invites us among them so that we can celebrate together what Life has best to offer us: clan spirit, family life... At a time when there is so much hatred, tension and inability to listen to each other, CRM is certainly one of the tools that the Gods use to slowly but surely spread their message of peace, love and brotherhood to the entire planet. Let me reassure you, Dan: there is never, ever, ever one of your shows that is less fun than another (29:11). Each presence of CRM on the Net is a breath of fresh air. We are still waiting for a hard correction in the stock market in the next 5-10 weeks. When that happens we will see watch prices take another hit as well.

100%. The fed just raised interest rates. We are in a recession. If you think this is just a “correction” you are just kidding yourself. Money isn’t free anymore and the market is about to tank. Rare pieces will hold their value for sure but sports models that are mass produced will be back to where they should be, around the retail price. The flippers won’t be able to afford to take the risk of buying these watches because they can’t get paid enough from the grey market dealer. It will be great to be a fly on the wall.

Yes, we think the band is aftermarket.

@@ingresswizard9044 Yes. The gold in the band tested differently because it comes from a different factory in la Chaux de Fonds following a different production process. The band needs to be stronger/more scratch resistant so other alloys are mostly added. But the gold % is still correct.
