I love that man hell of a coach and awesome human being

One of my dad’s proudest moment was to meet coach vermeil before he past away in 2017! My father was a diehard eagles fan as I am but my dad never got a chance to see the eagles win there first Super Bowl!! But got a picture taken with coach vermeil!! My father died happy after meeting him!! Thank you coach vermeil for making my dad dreams come true!! You will always be the greatest eagles head coach of all time!!!

This man was all class! His comment about telling people that you appreciate them and love them is so true. I used to poke fun at him when he first started coaching the Rams. I would get my friend laughing saying that Dick was crying again. All in fun because I feel just the way he did about people. I remember him sticking with Tony Banks even though he was not having a good year. He did that because he cared about the man. 🙏

In my opinion he is the greatest Eagles coach ever.

I fucking love Dick Vermeil. Thanks for posting this. It also brings back memories with the 80's TV bits in the beginning. I was 9 years old when this aired.

He came back all those years later and won a Super Bowl. Remember he had a chance to coach the Eagles again in the late 90's, but the owner Jeffery Lurie didn't pull the trigger because he wanted a small part ownership of the team. I guess it all worked out, because later on they hired Andy Reid.

Andy Reid couldn't fill one of his shoes as a coach or person - I have met this man and there are no equals.!
