Does anyone remember when Boomerang was just dedicated to old Hanna-Barbra cartoons with no commercials? I loved watching shows like Penelope Pitstop, Flintstones, Space Ghost, Josie and the Pussycats, Old Scooby Doo, Top Cat, etc.

@@kathconserv He means the original is dastardly. Personally, its hard for me to love someone who's so mean to a gentle soul like muttley, but to each his (or her) own. Some villains are actually loveable. Muttley represents alot of the good things I used to see in people, back in the 70's. He's a loveable kind of madness that adapts himself well to the anger & chaos surrounding him. That's why he'll be my youtube ID a long time. Long live muttley, that snickering smart-aleck! 💜❤️

Well if they didn’t waste so much time and effort cheating they’d probably win some races. Dastardly even won once or twice but was disqualified for some reason or other, and he once nearly won fair and square. But he stopped at the finish line becuz he didn’t want to win fairly. Another time he did the same thing to pose for the photo finish

This is what Nintendo should do with waluigi make him the new dick dastley and give him his own muttley and to be honest I kind of think he should have sounded like him as well now that Charles has retired from the voices Mabye the new voice for waluigi they could make him sound like him

Muttley is sneaky, & when dastardly isn't yelling orders at him, he demands respect. He knows all he has to do to repay dastardly for his hatefullness is abandon him to his own mistakes I've nothing against scooby. But you're right! It would've been MUCH more enjoyable for dastardly & muttley to have been produced _INSTEAD_ of scooby for the years scooby lasted (?? 1969-75) & vice-versa. Dastardly & muttley were produced for only one year (1969)

One of my favorite moments with Dastardly & Muttley is in Episode 33, "Race to Racine". At 6:40, Dastardly has Muttley infiltrate the Ant Hill Mob. Then, Muttley turns on Dastardly and throws a bomb at him! To which Dastardly replies "After giving him the worst years of my life, where did I go wrong?" Absolutely HILARIOUS! Guess Muttley forgot about being loyal to his owner eh? Hehe!

A lot of us do want a dog like Muttley.

This was my favorite villain when I was a kid

I worked it out. Muttley has achieved a state of Canine Nirvana. He has transcended to the plane of oneness. Win, lose, up, down, right, left have been vaporised by the Husky Chuckle. We should all try and follow the path of Muttley and laugh at each unexpected twist and turn in life. The world is tough sometimes but one giggle can wipe away a thousand teardrops.

I like that Dastardly and Muttley came out of retirement and were up to their old tricks for the Wacky Races in SouthPark.

Why isn't he going "WAHHHHH!!"? Oh wait.. This isn't Waluigi. I'm watching this and I feel like if he should be going "Wahhh!!!".
