I can totally see a Yeahanus existing in the same world as a Goodying, an Altona, and a Larry Shungite.

I know for a fact that before he launched Rippaverse, Eric was preaching how important good stories and being able to follow them and setup up a larger universe with a connected story free of continuity issues was to his upcoming comic book universe. I know cause those videos are still on his channel. It was very important to his comic universe that he didn't just have goofy one off stories, but rather ones that connected to form a larger universe overall. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eYahmrukd7Gxprg.html At 3 minutes going to about the 4 minute mark of the video, you can listen to Eric talk about how important continuity between stories and growing from feedback off the first issue is to his Rippaverse comic book universe. It's the first video he made talking about his Rippaverse project. Now that he's got a few books out and you guys have read all them-can you give some feedback on the overall story of the Rippaverse? How easy is the story to follow? Surely there's enough information now, right?

Well, she blew up the oil derik to kill her attackers, but the point still stands, as it muddles her character even more. Does she mind killing bystanders? So, she is reckless, okay, but do you want her to be the kind of alien hero that doesn't care about people in her way. It doesn't seem like that. This is all stuff I would have thought Eric understood is annoying in the current MCU. Not great continuity. There is going to be a lack of continuity, specifically in your characters, if you don't know what kind of people you want them to be. And, if you don't know what implications their actions have in the story. Like, blowing up an oil derek will kill workers and that will mean something to your character. And what that means will be crucial to who your character is. Speaking of; in order for their to be continuity to characters and story. You need to actually know what the story is and who the characters are. So you can keep track of it as you go. As I understand it, very few people are good at making things up as they go. Most, need to write alot and plan things, so as to have a good idea of what they are doing. I think Eric is just "flying by the seat of his pants".

Good horror is hard to do well , I’m sure Dick will agree to do a good horror movie, you should know how to do comedy first or congruent fashion of both,

Good horrors not easy to make. If it was silent hill 2 wouldnt still be the apex of horror 20 years later. Cheap gross out horror like the soskas do is garbage, its below entry level. Knowing how to create suspense, dread and fear without showing the audience anything is a talent. Anyone can do piss vomit torture porn like the soskas
