Here’s the problem with dice control/influence. Whatever influence you achieve by practice keeping the dice from rotating or only rotating on axis while in the air, as soon as it hits the table and especially the alligator pattern on the wall the dice are completely randomized. You can see it on your slow motion throws and have seen the same results of the wall and floor of 5e table on other craps channels in slow motion.
You make it look so insanely easy to throw the dice! Impressive!!!!
Just by watching the way the dice spin, tumble and collide with each other shows you that dice control is b.s.

Great control! Liking your grip and toss! I see your throw grip is consistence.Wishing you well, wherever Casino you play, and as a Vietnam Vet- always nice to see our good old American flag. Keep the dream alive! Ill be watching you. Signing off Chicago Joe
Nice 📸 shot's. About the best I seen. Trying to make it a part time job. Thanks 👍
Wow, beautiful how the dice just floats with hardly any spin 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I use the 3 V set with the 2/1 on the thumb. Very similar results. Best set! Very few 7's. My friends are disbelievers of the controlled dice set(s). But they regularly play more aggressive when I'm the shooter.
Great coverage, above-average roll. good set on the 6&8 I'll subscribe

Out in Deadwood they still have tables that are like 25 years old, and they are hard tables, not bouncy like the ones in Iowa. what I was able to do was land the dice about an inch before the pass line, and then as they hit for the second time, they hit on the bottom of the wall where it's just a foot piece, not the full diamond. If you look closely at the diamond wall, on the very top and the very bottom it's more like a v shape or an L. The biggest thing what you have to do is you have to kind of throw the dice higher than you think. I was told that you need to have the dice come in at about a 40 to 45 degree angle, and land flat on your first landing zone, which dissipates a lot of the energy in the dice. (so on the second bounce, is where they come in contact with the bottom of the wall. also you want the dice to land softly. What I mean by that is if you imagine, tapping someone lightly on their shoulder, vs swiping their ear sharply. it may take a few throws to figure out your landing song, but you can just put a $5 pass line bet out there, and maybe throw a dollar on the hard six and eight or ten and four. I will get you some inexpensive practice throws.
A forward throw should have some back spin to reduce the CRAZY rotation that occurs when landing on the table AND slow down the forward momentum by the time it hits the cushion. That will reduce the overall time the dice rotate.

That’s how I do it. Less about “setting” dice and more about controlling how much it tumbles around. I always play mid-table and soft toss it to control how it lands.

is this how the throw is suppose to look? seems like the dice go out of wack every throw ?
I love this slow-mo action finally someone on KZread that's showing you when they set their dice and throwing it in the air and you can actually see the dice not spinning only till hit the wall. This is a great video thanks so much. My girl likes to play with the 3v set also me i like playing with the hard way numbers. So the less spinning the dice does in the air and if you don't hit the wall you more likely will hit your numbers..great video Showing love from Nashville 🛫

LOVE the slow-motion video captures after each dice roll!
Thanks for all the help with my game.
I truly live the slow-mo camera. I also love how people think these motions are controlled. The dice are spinning on all 3 axes.
I also throw the 3v. I’m right handed, so I through with 3 in the front and thumb behind from left of stick & thumb & finger on the outside from right of stick. Those are really the only 2 spots I shoot from on the table. Shortest distance to toss.
Great Video!
Great video!
I use a similar throw with little to no spin from the back and it works for me. What's the length of your table? 8' or 10' ?
great to see a lefty video. i can throw both but it can be confusing on setting things up.
Alot of bounce on that table, likely from the high angle fall. My practice table has 2 layers of underlayment to mimic bouncy tables like this. The only counter to it I have found is adjusting my landing zone and trying to land the dice as flat as possible with the least amount of forward momentum possible. Still working on keeping my dice married and perfecting my stick left throw. I hate straight out throws due to the distance.
What's best camera for that slowmotion
Over 90% of my 7-outs when shooting a 3V happen when one of the dies ends up stopping far away from the wall while the other die drops and stops close to the wall.
Great slow motion video!
Great video! Can you do a video that shows the Mechanics of your grip and toss ?
I just tried it and did see improvement and got my confident back. I just need consistency. I kept my bets low while everyone else were winning on my throws.

That's very impressive from the far side of the table. I always go for the middle as close to the stick man if possible. Do the 2V
Love the slo mo.
At Foxwoods yesterday, full table i was at the very end of the table 4 shooters before me random throwers set the point threw 2 numbers sevened out one guy hit the point the others established the point and sevened out ,, i got the dice set 3 v from the very end of the table hit four points 9,8,10,8 and numbers in between before sevening out
I remember using the 3v3 set in Philadelphia about 8 years ago and won the full fire 🔥 bet establishing every number and hitting every number and then after winning the whole jackpot of 5 Thousand dollars initially 3 more winning numbers after establishing them again and one of the higher ups told me that no has ever done what I did.
Run this back but with chips in the way that could manipulate throw style.
Great video! Good dice set. I use the same one. Avoiding the 7 is just as good as hitting the 6 or 8 because with control the 6 & 8 will show up. Since you're a lefty have you ever tried shooting from the stick/ left position? Would be closer to the table end maybe have more control? Keep up the good work.

@ezienex

It gets harder the farthest you are to the diamond wall it gets easier the closest you are to the stick man.
Interesting that you as a lefty as me prefer to shoot from the end of the table. The only way in my opinion to prove that dice setting makes a difference is that with each set chart 1000 rolls, then look to see if 7 comes up less and if the target numbers come up more as compared to random. From that information you can calculate your EV(Expected Value) on that set and then know on what numbers to place bets where your EV overcomes the house edge. If you cant manage to get a positive EV on the dice sets you are using, then you will lose in the long run. You have an awesome throw !

I totally agree with you on “The house always wins” however with dice control you have a little advantage over the house. Now I would have to disagree on the tables being full of players, nowadays you could walk up to a casino and find empty tables. I’d prefer during the week, cheaper and more empty tables, now during the weekend if you go early enough you could find some empty ones as well in my personal experience. Thanks for your comment!!!

Very cool, this really shows just how many times the dice spin before they stop. I think casino security would look at this and call it luck. Hit the back wall randomized, and you avoided the seven for 19 rolls. The casinos base their income on the math. Lets keep dice influence a myth!

It all depends on how much you practice and on the table . Some casinos have soft bouncy tables others have hard bounce tables. I’d practice on a hard table so that’s what I prefer and seem to do better on them, you know what they say practice makes perfect. Good luck.

Hahah... there are many way you can do to practice at a casino for free. If you want I can make a video explaining how to!! Thx for your comment comment!
It works as long as you dont throw a 7 lol lol
So. Dice influence/control goal of throwing 6s and 8s, which will randomly occur a combined 10/36 of the time. Ability to select whatever section of throws you want (even assuming the video itself isn’t edited to exclude some throws) Your results are 6/19 successes, or 31.5% versus an expected success rate of a random process of 27.8%, or a 3.7% edge. The house edge is 1.5% on a per-bet basis on the 6 and 8. So you’re 2.2% ahead of the game over a 19 roll, self-selected sample. Say you are a $12 place bettor. You’re coming out ahead by about a quarter each time one of the bets resolves. The 6 resolves 11/36 of the time but let’s just say 1/3. So you’re making $.25 every 3 rolls. On a weekend you’re talking one minute per roll on average (not counting the set time) but let’s be generous and say 40 seconds per roll. So every 2 min there are 3 rolls. $.25 every 2 min is 30x.25= $7.50 per hour. That’s assuming you are the only one throwing and that your small sample generalizes to infinite throws (it doesn’t).
