Let me give you the ins and outs of the recording of my music video for "After the Storm" through this vlog, part 1/2! For which René, Zora, Robin (from Blackbriar) and I went to the beautiful 'Mullerthal' near Echternach, Luxembourg.

"After the Storm" (official music video: • DIANNE - After the Sto... ) is Dianne van Giersbergen’s long-awaited first solo single of her upcoming album "Soulward Bound . An album which she will release under her own name “DIANNE”.
“After the Storm” is a song about standing up for yourself and abandoning your position as pawn in someone else’s’ war. It’s symphonic metal, it’s power metal and it’s topped with Dianne’s characteristic, dramatic operatic voice.

I didn't know that I needed a video with Zora walking through the woods in casual clothes to find the best place to shoot a scene for the video, but now I do. The videos shot in the wilderness are always the best

Oh yes, there is so much more to see and that we could have used for the video. Next time I should make a longer song I guess 🤣
Great to have a BB camera crew! As to that cave at 2:05 I'm sure I know it from somewhere.. Yes, the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog! 😱 Capitalized on its Monty Python fame and obviously still performing. Guess it wasn't hungry during the shoot. Cheers!

Is it going to be a full on Symphonic Metal album or could we expect a ballad too...? Anyway, you released a damn good song. And that vlog makes me wish for an instrumental version as well so I'd be able to notice the little things that are more difficult to notice when there are vocals. Oh, the appreciation of those small things can really contribute to the whole. Especially in such an epic song.

you look lovely even without makeup , it can be a challenge to find suitable locations that dont get crowded , locations twhere you can film undisturbed . If you were in wales there are plenty of locations that are great for filming where you are not going to have any people but it depends on time of year as i went to glynllifon out of holiday season and i did not see anyone in the forest , even in snowdonia at some times you dont see many people off season , harlech castle is a great location
