athanasia columbus I was there at this game and the place went NUTS when Diana got up to speak and talk about their relationship.

Ms Taurasi is a very good public speaker. I could not hear all of her speech, but I was a bit sad that she was quite critical of herself, when I think she is the inspiration for Phoenix. If anyone could tell me what regional accent she has, I'd be most appreciative.

she is from mid to southern california. mom is argentina and dad is italian. might have picked up a northeast accent from four years playing at uconn.
