Diana in Moscow - Raw Footage of Princess' Historic Visit to Post-Soviet Russia (1995)
On 15 and 16 June 1995, Diana, Princess of Wales enjoyed a 24-hour visit to the Russian capital of Moscow. As well as visiting the Kremlin and the Russian White House, Diana was treated to a special ballet performance of Les Sylphides at the Bolshoi Theatre, while she spent the second day of her visit at Tushinskaya Children's Hospital, of which the Princess was patron.

This was an important trip for anyone from the West to visit Russia which was only five years into its transition from communism. Princess Anne was the first British Royal to go there (1990) and it’s still amazing that Diana could go too. She dressed very simply to keep the focus on the people and her charm and friendliness won over everyone- despite the language barrier. Cute cameo from the Sun newspaper’s royal photographer, Arthur Edwards, near the end of the video.
The eyes are the mirror on the soul. You can just see the genuineness and care for others in her eyes.
I love and miss her light!!!

I cried when she passed away, and I cried watching the clip. Charles didn't deserve her. I feel so sorry she had to go through a living hell from her marriage to her divorce. She was the epitome of beauty, grace, and goodness. Rest in peace, dear Princess!

she would have known she would die early, bulimia is a life threatening condition that affects every part of the body and she hadn't been treated and it puts as much strain on the body as anorexia

@@glen7318but Diana's bulimia started in the mid seventies and its known from her personal trainer that she worked out and her diet improved, but nothing is known about any "treatment"

@@sunshineandwarmth you need to read a history book or do a Google search. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was 17 at the time of Tsar Nicholas II and his family's execution. How was a 17 year old girl not even married into the royal family responsible? King George V had way more responsibility for Tsar Nicholas II and his family's deaths. He could have gotten his cousin and his family out of Russia but he did not.
She would still be alive today if she had just had a faithful husband.
